Finally got to sit down, break out my inking tools, and draw something for this. It's been a while since I've used a dip pen but it was def satisfying to really get into this inks. Top to bottom is finished color test, cleaned inks, and a raw scan of the inks with pencils left in.
Panspermia will most likely be limited color but I think I need to go heavier on inks to make it effective. The blue panel turned out how I wanted right off the bat but the red one I kept floundering on and it...

More proof that I'm constantly forgetting the damn bell. Even before Cat's neck disappeared I would forget the collar! I am kinda wishing I gave her whisker face paint in the comic but I probably would have forgotten that a bunch too. I'm so great at this comic thing you guys.

Pumpkin Race will end next month at 28 pages plus a cover, then in June will begin Panspermia, a sci-fi horror preg comic. Like Aliens, but more bellies and boobs. I'll be using a different style for it with traditional inks so $5 patrons can expect some style experiments to pop up later this month and the next.

Three things:
1. I don't know how I inked over that terrible sketch of the first panel.
2. Witch is pointing in every other panel oops. This should be the last for a while!
3. I took a different sort of process video! I used screen recording to record the inking of the bottom panel in real time. So you can see how the strokes are made, how often I zoom, etc. Something different than the usual time lapse which is just showing the strokes appearing rapid-fire.
