Naoto and Rise Swimwear!

Hey all! I finally finished with the first art of the "second" term, the Naoto and Rise swimsuit piece! With two characters this ended up taking quite a while but it was a lot of fun!

I say this as respectfully as possible, I've always loved Rise's bikini lol. It's just so bright and warm. Very Persona 4.

There's a good amount of juxtaposition between these two characters so I tried to push it farther with the lighting. I think it resulted in one of my better rendered pieces.

I'm more of a manga reader but I really do recommend the series! Though it's much more about the creative process than gooning believe it or not. Buuut if you're in it for the love story the payoff is really good too!

Overall I was happy with the main art but I think I made her a bit big headed so I tried to account for that here. Though I think the reality is just Junah has a big head lol. Proportions are always difficult, especially when it comes to stylization :,). I always do my best to measure it out but a lot of times you do need to just rely on intuition.

Anyway, Marin is next and hopefully my love for her will translate to it ...

Hey all, here with the Junah artwork!

I think Junah is actually my favourite Metaphor design, which as a Soejima girly design maybe isn't that surprising lol. But she's definitely a bit harder to draw... those eyes and that head. The doll-like aesthetic is really neat but I had to paint over the face a bit to get it looking right in the end lol.

As always, I hope you enjoy! This ended up taking particularly long since I did an alternate expression with slightly altered pose...
