This marks the first main illustration where I've majorly changed my process based on ongoing thoughts and positive feedback I've been getting. I'm foregoing proper lineart for a more free/painterly style while keeping graphical aspects and outlines on characters. There's... some growing pains here as I try it fully for the first time but I think the result came out pretty nice :)

Hey all, just sharing a work in progress on the Franziska piece!

Due to thoughts I've had for a while and positive feedback on sketches I'm streamlining how I draw and simplifying my use of layers immensely. There is only 6 active layers in this image compared to other illustrations which could creep up to 80+ layers lol

Anyway, mostly just rendering and polishing and this will be done!

This art took a lot longer than it should have due to rushing the perspective at the start a bit but, somewhat how it goes with learning on the fly.

Hey all! Sorry for the delay but here's the winners for this month's polls!

Overall pretty happy with this one as I wanted to so a energetic pose and think I was able to hit that. Had some trouble with the limbs which led to some annoying redraws but overall feel I'm getting better lol

Here's my second Kasumi piece, this time in her phantom thief outfit as Violet :)

I think it might actually be my favourite PT design now, though the black on black on black is always hard to work with lol.

This artwork came out more rendered than the last few... I guess I'll just continue to flip flop until I find what I like lol.

Patreon resuming August 4th

Hey all, just a reminder that the patreon is resuming this month with billing resuming on the 4th.

Apologies if you got an email saying otherwise... Patreon is dumb and just auto sends that at the start of a month if in a pause cycle.

Going by last month, patrons with a bill date in the first few days on the month should get charged on the 4th. Let me know if you have any issues!

I feel I've been improving my process slowly but surely... though some of the layer techniques I've used on these Mythra arts have just made clip studio run very sluggishly. Not exactly sure why since my computer should be able to handle it but guess I'll just adjust my process to not have to deal with that lol.
