Rogue-Like 0.991f (Still not the final form)

Sorry about the delay on this one. It should clean up a few of the bugs, but it's still not the final 0.991 release since there are some features I'd like to include but haven't had the time to finish.

It should be noted that pre-0.991 saves will likely still not work in this build, but that is is something I intend to fix before moving to 0.992 development. In the meantime, a patron has noted that if you load a save in 0.990m and then open the "Leave" menu, showing the various places...

Rogue-Like Update 07/03/2020 (All about Jean)

Ok, so version e was slightly stable, I will put out a hopefully even more stable version f soon, but also plan to add some new features (including a more stable way to load previous saves) before I wrap 0.991 and move full into 0.992 development.

Site Update, Death and Taxes

So, apparently there's some tax thing going around Patreon next month, something about various jurisdictions taxing digital goods. I don't fully understand it myself, and hopefully it shouldn't amount to much, but it is a flexible system where I can set vague targets as to what the "value" of what I provide is, verses how much of it is more of a "donation." Rogue-Like 0.991e (ghost busters. . .)

Ok, I think this one will clean up some issues with the menu disappearing after some diagnostic messages popped up. It should not only not happen anymore, but hopefully "broken" saves in that state should correct themselves. I also made a few other tweaks, like I got Jean's UI working a bit better, and made a change that should make her a little more flexible than she was. See if that's a positive or a negative. I plan to launch a whole separate thread about "Jean as a character and balance" ...

Rogue-Like 0.991d (working through some things. . .)

This should clear up a few errors, like that "  list.remove(x): x not in list " one, as well as providing a new diagnostic message sometimes if that error tries to come back. It should also catch " name 'Jean' is not defined," and some display issues with her corset, along with other content fixes. 

Saves from previous versions will continue to not work for the forseeable future.

This should fix a number of bugs people have been reporting, a persistent crash when she wears a skirt, a couple different issues that pop up on dates, an issue with Rogue in her intro scene, maybe a few other things.

What should "unavailable" options look like?

It should come as no surprise to people who have been following this game that Jean will not launch with all of her sexual activities available. When I first release a girl, I typically only have her standing sprite finished, so sex acts that use different poses tend to come in second and third releases for that character. Sorry about that, but doing otherwise would mean I couldn't get anything out for another 3+ months of putting art and animations together.

Just a quick headshot, I wasn't entirely happy with Jean's first design, and got a lot of well earned negative feedback on it, so I figured it was a good idea to update it a bit. I went back in and think this is a lot cuter. I'll probably also include a straighter haired variant, but this'll be the default, I think. Better? Worse? Not better enough?

Ok, this is the initial test of the ability to import saves from previous versions of the game to the new version. Give it a shot. I'll remind you to only import saves where you are in the player's room, alone, and saved from a copy of version 0.984 (the one from last fall). Some more fixes that mostly relate to things like dating, threesomes, shower scenes, etc. At least the bugs are getting a bit more specialized, the more obvious ones seem to have worked out. This update will also be the first to add a new variable to the class in save files, which I had tested at home, but not done yet in previous builds. 

edit: Sorry, guys, this build had a serious problem (basically caused by a few missing = signs), move on to the next.

There are a bunch of typos here and there that got cleaned up, some issues with the shower scenes, I forget what else and my vision's going  a bit blurry. Ok, a few more tweaks here, Some issues with Rogue's dancing, some issues with the massage system hopefully worked out, some issues with outfits being shown when a character first appears, some issues with Laura's second intro scene, a few other random crashes, etc.

Btw, if you experienced Laura's second intro scene appearing but then the Kitty segment after not playing, take to Kitty and in her romance options pick "About that talk we had before" to advance that plotline.

Ok, this one should clear up a few bugs. Last one resulted in a TON of feedback, just spent the last two hours pouring through it, but fixed a lot of bugs too. This should solve things like the "Emma_Cumming not found" and the "Check" and a bunch of other issues that came up last build. I've fixed some issues with the new "barging in" system, but maybe not the last. It is intended that now in some cases a girl can just show up during the middle of a sex scene, and then things will result, but...

Ok, this should clear up some issues these builds have been having with girls having threesomes with themselves (at least until the Cuckoos get in). It had to do with the game adding multiple copies of the characters to a given list, and I think I fixed that. If you have saves halfway through a scene then there might still be some issues with those, but it shouldn't keep causing these problems on new scenes.
