Due to work & life in generally being really busy I'm going to be rendering something relatively simple or experimental (from things I'm trying) on a Wednesday until at least my Christmas holidays (around early/mid December).
This is something I was trying out with Discko's new version of D.Va using physics for the top and breasts, and also combing particle hair.

This one was based on a reference, and then ended up transforming into something else... First because I swapped the model, then because I changed the position. Then I thought it was too empty... So say hello to Mai, in a dungeon, with mecha tentacles. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It has been a stupidly busy week. I haven't had time for much of anything except work, and then even that has been waiting around 'on call' because people keep getting delayed... It's annoying as all hell because I can't do anything while I'm waiting.

Wow... What a pain in the ass Blender has been recently. I've had a huge amount of issues with random render errors. They only started about 1 week ago and nothing important I can think of has changed. I think I've finally managed to fix the issue, but I guess we'll find out.
Unfortunately it means I've spent more time trying to fix rendering issues than working on the render itself so it isn't as complex as it could be.

Sorry this is later than usual. I'm not really too happy with it, it was supposed to have so much more in it but Blender decided to hate me. I had issues with an old add-on that took a while pin down and then I had endless CUDA errors trying to render it out.
I ended up having to load the file in an older version of Blender which killed some of the extra stuff I'd added.
I considered not posting it, but I don't want there to be too long a gap in content so hope you can enjoy...

Happy Halloween!
To celebrate spoopy day here is something with tentacles & Ciri. There's also a 'all-the-way-through' version for anyone who is a fan.
I tried a few new things with this (displacement modifiers, displacement nodes, procedural textures... and more) and I'm hoping to take the things I've learned into new renders going further.

With work and COVID my creativity and mental health haven't been the best recently, but I decided to try and focus all that negative energy into actually trying to create something.

So a completely different render to the one that was planned due to time issues and some problems with the model I wanted to use. Normally I'd just work around it, but this weekend has been awful for time.

Something... Simpler today. I'd planned on adding a collar, cuffs and maybe some chains to this but I kind of liked it as is.

For this render I decided to take a little more time and instead of doing multiple versions in a small time I took more time on a single render.
Let me know which you prefer. Do you like multiple versions or angles at the expense of 'quality' or do you prefer a single more 'polished' render? I'm hoping to use my time off to recharge and think about how I'm making things so I'll definitely take into account any comments.

I'm really not to happy with this one at all. The position ended up restricting lighting and I was feeling rather 'uninspired' so I think the background also suffered because of it.

This was an experiment of sorts to again do another 'story' style set. I had a few problems with the nurse outfit so there aren't as many renders as I'd like.
Please let me know what you think. Do you like these 'sets' instead of single renders with a few variations? If I do these more often I will try to do sets with 5 or 6 renders in each time. This is the exception simply because of the issues I had with the outfit.
