Billing change info / Journey to Veresavir - Chapter 5

Hello, a few infos.

I'll restart billing on the 1st of September, will see how much I upload during the month and might pause again at the end of September depending on that. For Journey (funny to me to use that shortening as that is Journey of Black and Red to me - not sure on it, might just call it Veresavir). For Veresavir, I'll put it on the 2.50$ tier for now as I'm not posting a lot.

If you don't want to be billed starting on the 1st, make sure to unsub before that or change...

Journey to Veresavir - Chapter 4

Chapter 4

It turned out that levitating rocks was quite a way off for Veron.

Ian was intrigued but not particularly surprised to hear that Veron had the Elemental Path. He told him that it was somewhat uncommon for humans but not exactly rare either.

Ian was more surprised about the three Harmonies. That one was rare. Not unheard of by any means but in no way common either. While the strength of the Path determined your overall magical and to an extent even yo...

Journey to Veresavir - Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Veron didn't know what to expect. He simply followed the supposed warrior through the forest, checking his surroundings as he went. He got the impression that Ivera wasn't particularly concerned about any monsters in the vicinity.

Was she just confident enough in her own abilities to know that she could deal with anything that came up? Or was she trying to put up a strong front?

She seemed familiar with the surroundings, that much was clear.

Journey to Veresavir - Chapter 2

Chapter 2

The very likely magical robot looked at Veron for a long moment before it spoke.

“My name is Envolon. And I'm sure that you have a lot of questions. I won't be able to answer all of them but maybe a few. Yes, magic is real. It's simply very weak still on your world. In less than three hours, if you agree, I will send you to Renavor. It is a world where magic is far more present and developed, a world where humans have not conquered the world as they have...

Journey to Veresavir - Chapter 1

Chapter 1

A soft and warm breeze flowed over the cemetery, faintly rustling through the canopy of leaves above.

Veron breathed in deep, keeping his eyes closed as he enjoyed the serene quiet of the summer afternoon. Everything had led him here.

Performance reviews, deadlines followed by deadlines, meeting after meeting. It had been a long process. A lot of things he had to learn and a lot of things he had to unlearn. But finally, a few months back, he had to...

Update on writing

Hello everyone.

Long time no update :). I've been pretty busy with life.

Work wise I've mainly been focused on editing Azarinth. Book four has been in copy edits for a while and I'm currently working on book five. I think I've also mentioned before that I've been setting up a new world to write in. I wrote a few chapters back in January but after revisiting them a few months ago, they didn't feel right anymore so I redid them.

Now that book four is mostly done on my end, I c...

Update on Azarinth stuff / current writing

Hey everyone

I hope you're doing well, however your holidays may have been. I know it's not an easy time for everyone :).

I'm posting to update you on a few things.

With book 3 of Azarinth Healer out and book 4 soon in the deep edit stage, I think we've reached the point of the story where the writing starts to flow somewhat alright. There's still a ton to change and smooth out but it's more or less okay to read through to the end, especially if you're invested already. I sa...

Azarinth Healer – Book 3 – Out today on Amazon and Audible! Massive edits. M a s s I v e. Please release me from edit prison.

Hey everyone. Book 3 of Azarinth Healer is finally done and available on Amazon and Audible.

Wonder why it took longer? Because the draft was about as long as the first two books combined.

A literal fuck ton of cuts in this section of the story but most of our efforts went into trying to make the characters feel better, their motivations more real, the emotions more present and grounded. There were plenty of new scenes added to achieve that and near all of the present scenes were ...

Thanks for the suggestions on the last azarinth post :). Oh and book 3 is out today on ebook and audio, will post about that later today as well.

Thanks for reading :).

Infrasound Berserker - Chapter 91 Cards - Last chapter of the first arc/story on hiatus now

Thanks for reading.

This is the last chapter of what I consider the first arc or first book of Infrasound Berserker. As informed, the story will be put on hiatus now (discontinued until I decide to go back to it).

Patreon billing will be paused for the time being and I'll keep you updated as I see fit. Next post will be about the Azarinth book 3 release in December - if you're a member at any tier or the free tier, you should get notified about that/any posts I upload.

Infrasound Berserker - Chapter 90 Climb

Chapter 90 Climb

“You chose the darksight skill?” Logan asked, the man standing with his sword at the ready, guns on his back. Out of ammo, like everyone else.

Kate watched the Union fighters prepare to leave, the stronger members carrying with them the dead. She gripped the two weapons in her hands, taking in a deep breath before she glanced at Logan. “Yeah. What did you go for?”

“Nothing yet,” he said. “I wanted to coordinate with you. B...

Kate woke up, her eyes opening wide as she grabbed for her weapons. She saw the dim light of headlamps lighting up a broad stone bridge and remembered where she was.

The undead. The fights. She closed her eyes. All she heard were people. Quiet conversations, whispered prayers, snoring, stirring sounds of restless sleep. And she heard quiet sobs, names whispered in the dark.

Her body ached. She’d gotten injured quite a few times today...

Jasia stared at the cones of light moving through the cavern. She spotted her allies, fighters of the Union, survivors, and friends. Roars and shouts rolled through the darkness, both red veins and pale blue starlight gone from this cursed place.

“The creature is dead!” someone shouted, another fighter crying out with joy nearby.

She read through the...

Billing pause and info

Heya. I paused billing now as informed. Now with the new billing method it's a bit whack how the setup on patreon is handling things.

I paused it today the 28th of Nov. The pause goes until the 28th of December, I can't pause for longer or indefinitely. I have to then log in and pause it again (I'll try to unpause in the middle of December and pause it again to see if that works).

So there is a possibility that if you for example signed up on the 28th of October, if it's unpaused ...

Chapter 87 Blood Angel

“Afraid? There are thousands of undead coming down here as we speak. We have to flee,” one of the others said.

“We didn’t come all this way to give up now,” another one said with a snappy tone.

Kate ground her teeth. They wouldn’t make it back up and out of the dungeon before any undead reached them. They could wait and hope that they could take out however many there were, coming down to kill them but whatever was at ...

Chapter 86 Depths

Layer after layer, their group explored and fought through, undead taken out as they followed the pulsing red veins, the dim red light pushed back with every Celeavir that they killed.

When they reached the sixth layer down, Kate noticed that the walls were no longer quite as smooth, rocks jutting out here and there. The veins kept pulling them downwards, the dim red light a constant in the oppressive feeling corridors.

They reached a ...

Chapter 85 Once more into the fray

The rest of the afternoon and evening passed quickly, filled with food, music, and card games. But Kate could feel that the general atmosphere was one of foreboding. The games were played with little real enjoyment, the music heard but not felt. The activities were meant to pass the time, to distract, to take their minds off of the next day.

Sleep didn’t come easy for Kate that night, and she could hear that she wasn’t t...

Azarinth Bonus post (read chapter 938 to avoid spoilers)

Spoiler warning for Chapter 938 (posted today)

With the new chapter, Ilea got a new arsenal of gear. And she doesn’t plan to keep it all. Here’s a list, and for the next epilogue chapter, I’d like for you to give me ideas for who Ilea can gift these to. The stupider the better.

No, she can’t wear everything herself on top of her dragonscale.

Hey all, as promised another Azarinth Epilogue chapter.

Book 3 is available for pre-order now: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CNNYXRFW

Tons of rewrites. I'll post about it again once it launches on December 11th :).

And one more thing to come later today for Azarinth. Nothing crazy but I'd thought about the next epilogue chapter and the idea fit.

Thank you for reading!

Hello everyone.

I wanted to update you on some current plans and thoughts.

Azarinth book 3 should be released in the first half of December, both Audio and ebook. I'll post all the pre-order/announcement stuff for the book soon. And an epilogue chapter of AH to go with it :).

But speaking of epilogues, I've reached the epilogue stage of the first arc or book of Infrasound as well. In writing. Posting wise, patreon should reach that ...

Heya! New chapter. Decided to include the plain text here on patreon anyway, for those of you who read the chapter in the email. You just won't have italics but it should be mostly fine through context. Thanks for the note, D.

Also a friend of mine published the second book in their series. More trad fantasy but check it out if the blurb on it or book one sound interesting to you :)

Quick update on patreon stuff. Before the update, patreon wouldn't paste paragraphs from gdocs or my writing program and I had to manually edit those back in whenever I posted. Now after the update it even removes italics for some fucking reason.

Editing those in again would be a lot of annoying work so I've decided to instead no longer post the plain text of the chapters on patreon and instead post shared links to the google docs files in addition to the pdf and epub opt...

Chapter 76 Fall

Kate looked out from the first floor of a large warehouse in the easternmost part of Falstadt. She could see the Weywater lake extending out before her visibility ended in the same gray mist that had covered the valley since the blizzard many weeks past. There were no lights, no boats, nothing that indicated that anyone inhabited this region. The air was fresh and cold. No snow was falling but the nearby roofs were still covered in it.

Kate enjoyed just watching the others, Eloise brewing more potions, Jon taking frantic notes as he worked through all the information they’d brought back, and Melusine playing a board game with Celeste. It felt nice but Kate couldn’t help but glance at the heavy door of the armory from time to time, thinking back to the undead that had breached this place.

“Enough gear here to equip around twenty people,” Logan said aft...
