Another fantasy hero design, though he's probably more of an anti-hero! I wanted to do a charming devil/bastard kind of character and also wanted to try drawing like a really long coat haha.
I went with a grey wolf and gave him an eye patch and a red eye to differentiate with our other wolf characters. I then used that red eye colour to add a highlight colour to stitching across his clothes to add break out of the fairly dark clothing.
I guess I've made fantasy Wolf O'Donnel...

I wanted to have some fun and felt like drawing Sammo again! Not only that, but try to do it in the style of those dakimakura/body pillows you see about the internet!

Uh oh, its another tanook!
What can I say, they are fun to draw! I didn't really have a concept in mind for this one, more so a body type! Like the cleric tanuki, I wanted to try a more buffer/muscle gut look! That and I wanted to throw in a cool hat~
I quite like the idea of him being a tank/defender class, using martial arts to block and dodge attacks. The fuzzy protector~

I've had a few folks ask me in the past how I do my ghosts, and I had a patron recently ask me. So I thought I'd provide a step by step as to how I do them!
Hopefully I'm a decent enough teacher here, and not just "step 4. Draw the rest of the owl"

I wanted to try and practice perspective and I had the funny idea of trying to depict Alp from Housamo be depicted doing the thing from the demon folklore he is based upon!
For those unaware, an Alp is a german shapeshifting demon that eats your dreams whilst they sleep, sitting on your chest as they do so to prevent you from moving. Basically its what we now know as sleep paralysis!
So the image of this squeaky voiced hip hop heavy set panda rapper sitting on your ches...

aaand the last of my personal work from the weekend, I did a fun lil housamo sketch that I inked up!
In the game, Tadatomo is a ninja dog that starts off as your enemy and eventually declares you to be his master and is fiercely loyal to you. He's also a massive crybaby that takes any attention as a sign of affection. Lately in the events, despite not officially being a part of your guild, it seems like Tadatomo basically lives in your guild's safehouse ceiling, spying on you all.
Its the beginning of the week so I decided to upload the weekend's personal work that I did!
Here we have a wonderfully handsome yeen bard! I quite like hyena characters, its always a lovely challenge to draw them. I liked the idea of having this big almost brutish looking character being incredibly dapper and playing a ukulele, and it stuck with me!

It's the beginning of the week which means me uploading my personal stuff I did during the weekend!
I quite like capybaras, they look incredibly chill and relaxed in basically all situations, and surprisingly, aren't that common in the furry fandom. So I decided to give them an attempt and drew this handsome lad! It was so tempting to put an orange on their nose.
Its monday night, which means uploading the weekend personal drawings I did! We've got a few fantasy hero designs and a housamo doodle coming up!
I imagine these ferret brothers are probably incredibly chaotic and most likely hard of hearing due to being so close to explosions all the time. I liked the idea of having a single "character" unit that was actually two characters.
With the year of the ox, I had to do some more bull related characters for this series, surely~?
Was inspired by the outfit Howl wears at the beginning of Howl's Moving Castle. Have a big massive bull charm you away on an adventure~

Oooo, a more gothic spooky hero~
As I had designed a spellsword earlier, I loved the idea of doing something a little bit spookier, so here she is! A big black bear wielding a sword with spiritual magic.
Another fantasy hero design! Here we have a mountain lion fighter with a spear and shield! Wanted to try out more earthy tones for her and I think it came out well! ...I admit, I'm unsure why I put a harness on her, but it seems to work well!

Another cleaned up concept! This one changed a lot from the original design! I still wanted to have a female sheep archer but she was much more lithe and shy looking.
I didn't want to have all of the female or feminine coded characters to all be slim waifs, so I thought a small yet big fluffy outgoing sheep would help get some different bodytypes in there!

The younger sibling of The Pond Witch!
I liked the idea of having a younger sibling to protect. Whilst unable to attack, they'd likely be of either a healing unit or a "dancer" unit, able to allow other units another action in the player turn. I quite liked the blue skin/red eyes look and thought it would be cute to incorporate a lily pad into the design!
Still unsure if they are frogs or newts, but the idea behind the frog theory, was that I intentionally didn't give this one arm...

Originally I had in mind that she was a frog, but she could also be a newt to be fair, haha. I liked the idea of frogs shyly popping their heads out of the water, and that got me thinking about selkies and mermaids, how their hair float around in the water below. A ruffled simple dress akin to koi fish fins, stuff like that! Bringing them out of the water kinda created this creepy cute ...
