It seems that I've managed to "fix" the pc that broke on me. opened it...cleaned a little, and strengthen the cords. now it's working, and rendering...crossing my fingers it was only some manor problem of static electricity, or something like that.
it still takes around 3 hours to render every image, and there's still a lot of work to do...but I'm very excited about chapter 9. the size difference still blows my mind...

Ironically, This was supposed to be a time where I had the most rendering power ever in my life. I was setting up the brand new pc (a true beast...), installed what needed and started to run down some tests.
it seems that the store didn't calculated right the amount of heat those new GPU cards omits. I had to carry the entire thing back to the store (it weight like a truck, not kidding ) and now they are working on it, replacing/adding fans etc.
an hour after...
This is my current WIP, and I won't start anything new before chapter 9 is done. Aiming for the begging-mid of November.
Oh, and I finally got the new pc :O. I invested a lot on this one, and I'm very excited to dive in and add it to my work-station. I still have a lot of work to do on it (purchasing new licenses, installing everything, etc) - but If this won't be enough to finally take a step forward in the way I imagine, I don't know what will.

I'm very glad I've invested the extra time and rendering to create this version as well, mainly for two reasons:
the first one is that I think the audio is great, and I want people who don't have VR-gear to be able to enjoy it as well. the second reason is because rendering in VR-360-Stereo mode (the one that most of you have been voting for) is a compromise on quality, and the addition of a non-VR version allows the usage of crispier renders. you guys get them both, so nothing to cont...

So...a new 3D-VR360 is budding. I wish to share a dilemma I already had before.
there are two ways I consider rendering my VR projects. the first one - is on stereo. this way, I render images of 2160*2160, or 2520*2520 at most, in an over/under method - which actually gives two images: one is for the left eye, and one is for the right. this creates the illusion of depth within the VR realm.
this is what I chose on the former projects.
The other way, is doing a mono rend...

Leya II is going to be so hot...:O
I'm still rendering. render phase will be done probably on Sunday or Monday, then I enter final editing phase...which means this one will be done hopefully by next weekend!

While I work on Leya II, and in case you've missed it...one of my hottest projects ever (Pun intended).
If you ask me, you have to use some VR head-set. if you don't have one, it's a great time to purchase. this experience will blow your mind. It's the closest I got to feeling truly tiny (All of my VR360 projects gives that sense, and I'm still only scratching the surface).
what a wonderful time to be alive. be grateful, folks. we are lucky!

I know I usually try to run through my story cycle in a certain order. I'm going to shift a bit from this habit. I had too much fun creating the first chapter in "Leya", and I wish to see where that one's going.

I wasn't planning on starting a new story before finishing at least one of the current 3 I'm juggling (Heat, The game and Xtreme). but I did. why the hell not? truth is, I got a hundred more simmering in the back of my mind. as well a need to get back into full 3D animations that keeps nagging at me.
I'll continue to create and push myself as much as I can, and deliver :).

I could go on with this one...so much fun! I had to stop so we will have a chapter ready during August! but that means just a lot more fun on the next chapter :).
I might dive right into working on chapter II, as I feel I'm on a roll with this story and wish to see where it goes!

I don't know if it will turn out into a long series like "Heat" or "The game". it might end in 2-3 chapters. we'll see about that. some of the stories I plan up-front, while others I create and develop organically, as I go. I don't want to end this one in a single chapter. the main female character is too damn hot for that.

So, a lot of people (from within and outside of Patreon) have been asking me for commissions. I'm working on a portraiture/art sets for some of my 3d models, and I'll be posting a complete portfolio once I'm done, with guidelines and general prices. I won't be accepting too many of those, for I don't want this to hinder my rendered stories, but patrons will get a head start on the rest.
