Of course, I can't exactly spill details, but I've been following this particular project for a long while and it's nice to see it come to fruition and work on it in an official capacity!
My usual independent work will continue as normal, but I'll update you on details for this Secret Project as it goes along.

No, really! As of this time, I have 5 different co-authors who all provide for my works. Whether through stories, proofreading, or art, there is a group of people that support me. While they all started out as fans I shot ideas off of, their contributions to my writing were tangible enough it was only fair to properly credit them. Now that I'm starting to receive financial support for that work, it's only fair that they receive a part of it.
So in the event that we reach $100 a month, I would start using a negotiated portion of these payments to share with my co-authors, which would increase as my own pay does. While the works are still ultimately a labor of love and this cannot be considered a true wage, I do want to continue to show proper credit and appreciation on all levels for those who support my works.
Additionally, at the $100s level, I will also start scouting for paid admins on our community server.
As of this time, our community server has 238 members from all over the world. Y'all are pretty polite so far, but I do have to sleep eventually, and as this community grows, I anticipate that things can become harder to keep on track. While people have approached me pro bono to admin for the server, I also understand, as an admin myself, that a lot of work goes into managing a server. I will not accept any official admins unless I have the ability to give them tangible compensation.
At the $100s level, this is also the stage we can consider Server Boosters for the community server!

My normal practice is to put pretty much any payment I get directly to savings and let it collect bank interest, then withdraw to checking as needed. I am currently in the very fortunate position that I do not need to frequently spend money, but this is obviously subject to change.
A "stretch goal" of mine for the future is to be able to cover my grandparents' groceries. They aren't in any form of financial hardship right now, but my grandpa recently retired and went through a bought of cancer, so their budget is not what it used to be. They were also my primary caretakers growing up.
In the event I reach the $100s in monthly Patreon payments, I would like to use this money to give them a little bit of financial ease. I am in no way their sole supporter, but I'd like to be another.

You will still maintain your separated roles. If your roles have not been assigned properly, please DM me your Patreon username for verification so that it can be manually assigned. Patrons will still have an exclusive chat within the server and the Exclusive ability to use external emojis.

As an alternative, I could directly post a link right here, right now, on this message. I don't know if the tier-specific roles would still work like this, but at least the chat would be up and running! you could still attain your tier-specific role by DM'ing me your chat nickname and patreon username so I can directly assign it to you. (Oh god, I need to update the chat rulebook...)
