Are my usual thumbnails too conservative….this video is my top performer ever….and I mean ever! The thumbnail is enticing as is the title of the video…I usually avoid these sort of thumbnails and titles but it shows just how much difference they make…

Not only is the performance of this video in ILW2 high and unusual, that second bump in views during the afternoon for no apparent reason is also unusual. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it before…My videos perform in a fairly predictable and uniform manner so this always makes me wonder what external influences are there…

BENYAR have blocked me!
So I contacted them to ask about their case materials, they immediately confessed it’s alloy. So I sent them 4 pictures from their listing where it says the cases are steel….They’ve amended one of the descriptions so the other three still remain. I just messaged them to encourage them to change them all and I’m getting a message which I’ve never seen before but implies they have blocked me….loooooool!

This video has not done well, so I changed the thumbnail and it’s had a very positive effect. Is it my face on the first thumbnail or the text on the new one that’s been the catalyst? Thoughts?

Starting to pick up the pace a little regards content…Top left is the QX by Ciga Design, top right is the X Series by Ciga Design, bottom left is the new San Martin and bottom right the new Phoibos Voyager v2.
Great idea from Harvey, to remove the 1 on a spare dial, shave off some length and re-attach it…(ok, so I made a mess of the dial but it was worth it!). We are asking for the 1’s to be 4.90mm in length…the 2’s are roughly 5.03mm in length and this seems to counter the optical illusion caused by the curve at the top of the 2.
Should Alex be offered a more regular slot on ILW….his own segment, ‘Alex’s corner’? Would you even go as far as saying, his passion for watches makes him the brother I always wanted?
In addition to these…are there any other types of videos you would like to see in 2022?
