2 weeks ago, We released a Captcha update.
You can now enable captcha authentication for your groups.
Membes MUST solve the captcha in order to stay in your group.

This is a big milestone for GroupGuardian, and is only the beginning for the tools and features we hope to support and provide to all of you.

Progress!

I first want to start by saying that you all have my apologies for not posting for so long.
I have been working very very hard on DreadBot, and you would all be shocked to know that its in a very usable state.

There are several bugs and a couple tweaks to be made, which I am working on Next week.

getUpdates or WebHook?

Simple answer, why not both?

There are plus sides to running a bot on either, so the progress update I have for you all is that I am working on setting things up to allow you to switch between either of these two modes when ever you wish.

I do strongly recommend reading the documentation I have setup for actually using WebHook mode before turning it on. (When Group Guardian Launches of course.)

Config loading is now completely done.

I have been making decent progress lately.

I have moved on to creating all the Methods that are called and used by Group Guardian to interact with Telegram.

This can easily be done before the end of the upcoming week.

I am cleaning up, and Ironing out the ConfigLoader which will not just be what loads your settings from a small file, but it will walk you through initial setup of the entire bot.

A little nervous in all honesty using such a platform, but to get right down to business.

I am currently in the middle of creating a Plugin for Group Guardian that will give Group Owners the ability to create and manage "Gateway" Groups.

A Gateway group is a way to "Screen" your users before you allow them entry into your main chat. At this time, we are all doing this by hand, which involves a lot of clicking and twice as much tapping if you're on a mobile device.
