Please enjoy, please survive until next the next issue.
So, the magazine will be online tomorrow, but we thought we'd give you a little Sunday afternoon delight!

For some reason, Scott started talking about Kojima while we were getting Rez footage for our VR video, knowing full well it wouldnt be going into the video. Anyway, I thought you’d like to see it, our lovely patrons.

This month we have an actual, if vague, theme: VERSUS MONTH! We’ve made three videos based around rivalries that nobody cares or even knows about. But that’s what you come here for is t it?
let us know what you think!

Loads of questions this time around, hope you enjoy our mediocre answers. We'll be taking a break in May for Joe's holiday, but we'll have info about our next live show very, very soon!

2019-04-16 20:18:47 +0000 UTC View PostHello lovely Patrons! I hope you’re all enjoying Issue Ten, out now!
We’ve been doing a lot of videos recently where Scott and I play a game, and I cut the video down to highlights for YouTube. I like to keep in the big laughs and the good bits of gameplay.
I had a thought though: would you be interested in seeing uncut versions of these videos? I was thinking that patrons might like to have longer versions of our gameplay videos to watch; the Ace Combat VR video, for example, is about half the length of what we recorded. I was thinking of calling it “Bit socket raw” because it’d be raw unedited footage.
Anyway, let us know in the poll below!
cheers,
Joe

Hello!
Here's something a wee bit special and exclusive for all you Patrons. A while back we were asked if we fancied doing something for BBC The Social's gaming channel. It seemed like a good idea; why not make something that can help us spread our wings a bit and get more folk to discover us?
We came up with what we thought was a great idea and they loved our pitch: Still Game Boys.
The idea was that we goto a different pub each video and get the regulars to play video games and review them for us. I had a clear idea of what the video looked like in my head and, I have to say, I was very proud when we finished the pilot video. It looked exactly how I imagined it and I can honestly say it's one of the things I'm most proud of making.
Sadly, for some reason, once I submitted the video, they re-cut it without telling me and neither Scott nor I were happy with what actually went out on The Social's youtube page. After you've watched my version you can have a look yourself here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwLbfbvZPy0
For various reasons, I wasn't happy, and we only tweeted out the link to the video once instead of giving it the full social media carpet bombing I thought I would be enthusiastic to give.
So, here's the original cut straight from us. It's unlisted on Youtube so only our dear patrons can watch it.
If you like it, let us know below. We've been in two minds about maybe continuing the series on our own channel. Would that be something you would like to see? It's a pretty big production compared to our usual stuff, but if the demand is there from you lot, who kindly and generously support what we do, then we might make more.
Anyway, I hope you like the video and appreciate this little glimpse into the inner workings of Bit Socket.
Cheers,
Joe

Anyway, here's 40 minutes of your lift you won't get back. Actually, Ewan McGregor and Jack White are good, I suppose.
