I'm really liking the subtle changes I made to John's hair and think it works just fine. George needs some work with his eyes I'm thinking... Jack's human form has been one of my more successful redesigns of late, especially since his introduction has spurred me to including him as his human more often and writing in reasons for him to stay in that form.

I struggled with Mini's emotions since he has no mouth... so in panel one I redid his eyes a few times. Panel two had a lot of copy paste and I just copied and redrew the bed rails over the previous panel's pasted image.

The two characters sitting on the sofa setup but with a twist. In an effort to help provide authenticity, I sketched Harvey with invisible ink. Lyn's sweater thing wasn't originally sketched and added afterward as I wasn't sure how I was going to costume her and turned to the Facebook page for help.

This one was an effort in scale. Having the elves be teeny meant I wanted to have George be larger in 3 than in the previous panels to emphasize the difference. I'm still getting neo-Skywalker hair George's look "right" so some panels he's more successful than others and I think 2 is the least of these three. John will need another update before I'm happy with him I think. He's close, but he's missing some character in his design... I felt the Wednesday comic this week was more successful for hi...

Tons of sizing changes before the ink stage on this one. Zoey's expression changed several times in panel three as I wasn't sure what tone I wanted her dialogue to come across with at first. I knew she was going to be supportive, but I wasn't sure if she would be more upset with the assumption that Lizzy thought people would call her names and take this potential change badly or not.

Lizzy's monitor was done at the ink stage so it doesn't appear on this sketch. John's monitor was giving me fits for no good reason so I included the roughest sketch I had of it. I should have gone with reference for his monitor as well but I didn't as I wanted to get the bottles back there and not have the perspective screw things ups, but with the added word balloons down there it wouldn't have made a difference in the end.

I'm not sure if it's in the sketch or I'm just liking the way things go in the ink+ stage, but I've been super happy with the faces in most of my characters this last week. I knew I wanted to have George popped out in two but I wasn't sure on the pose for a while. You can't see this in the sketch, but I have a second set of ink to color layers for John and George where the sofa layers are on top of them and then another set of layers for Jack and Jules.
