Panel three was a copy/paste with limited changes so I only have Jack's face stuff sketched... I apparently did George's changes at the ink stage, which is strange for me. The original plan was going to have Lyn also playing along with lines like, "You're an only child" but in the end the bit with Jack threatening George seemed strange with his sister in on the gag.

I was originally going to have the new guy drinking in all three panels so when I decided to change that up I figured I should change his pose from what he was in panel 2 to be him in panel 1. I'm starting to really dial in on what I like about human form Jack... which is good since he's going to be in that much more frequently.

Due to the holiday and general being busy... I'm postponing the bonus strip until Sunday again this week. I wasn't able to work on it last night and I haven't gotten it "ready" for today yet... but I do think I like the idea of having Friday's off so I might push the bonus strips to just come out on Sundays anyway so I have Friday night to myself...

I really like Lyn in panel 2. There's just something fun about her expression... I'm not even sure how well it transferred to the finished comic. I tried a few different things with Jack and finally landed on his posing for panel 2 after a few different things where it was closer to panel 1, but it was too boring visually to have that repeated. Panel 3 I wanted them to mirror each other's poses and I was torn on what pose to put them in but settled on the crossed arms.

I did the keg after the character art and only at the ink stage so I could just copy/paste it so I didn't worry about sketching it in. I also added it after I had inked/colored/shaded panels one and three so it's on a different layer group above the characters... Panel two has interaction with it so I had to include it in the ink stage.

I've been forgetting to put these up lately. I retooled human Jack a little since I want to have him be more in his human form for upcoming stories which I think is funny since Lyn is going to be a wolf more frequently. Getting Jack's look to be identifiable and have him not in his Teen Wolf jacket or smoking was a challenge and getting the Gary costume to work in just the upper half of his body was something I played around with especially when I got to colors in the purple lighting.

Glenda was the tougher of the two ladies to get "right" for this strip. I felt I got Lizzy right and only had to change up minor things with her in panels two and three. Glenda was more of a struggle and I'm still not 100% satisfied with her look... but I have two more days of her and Lizzy this week that I get to practice on.

Announcement

Smut, or UNCENSORED BONUS STRIPS, is being moved to a Saturday release schedule. As we inch up on the $800 milestone, also known as 5x a week updates, Tuesday is getting the regular strip treatment... and I would be moving the cartoon porn to the weekend anyway. I'm wanting to get on that schedule and I've decided it starts today. Sorry you'll have to wait a few days on seeing cartoon goodies, but it's better for me going forward and it lets me end the week with smut instead of having it near t...

Even though I'm feeling more sure about new Glenda's design... going forward, well after this arc, she'll have straight hair. I wanted to have her still look something like she did before but her new design I worked on had straight hair... and I think it's a stronger look in the long run. I'm also really digging Lyn in this and the second Lizzy.
