I had trouble getting this to feel the way I wanted it to... in the end I just settled on this simple composition as I was running late already. Mini not having a mouth is a difficult character to show emotion/expressions with... I need to figure him out more before I get to the planned Christmas arc with him in it.

Even with cutting off part of Francis' head I had to fudge some heights in this strip. I don't really like doing the change focus length panels to have it zoom out... so I cheat a little and we just have to assume characters are standing in a hole or others are on boxes. Elsa hadn't been redesigned ever and the last time I drew her was during a pretty different stylistic phase... so I had to try to adjust to the new style and make her feel like someone I'd like to draw again.

This one was pretty simple once I figured out they'd be on the couch. I had a few issues with placing arms on a few of the figures, you can see the issues in blue here. Sometimes John just is massive... well he is always, but here it just feels it.

Lots of last minute changes on this one. I originally was going to have George still with his spiky hair, but decided that he'd change things up for Halloween and we'll likely see him keep the Skywalker for a while going forward. I also increased Zoey and George's size for panel one and George was a copy paste for two. I was going to have whiskers on Lyn for panel three and decided against it in the end.

This one was very straight forward once I came up with the snap repeat. The original plan was for Lyn to scratch claw marks across his face, but the neck break worked better for an end with the snaps. I wanted her to wolf out at the end as a way to show she's okay with her wolfside and a button to end the Lyn/Blaine bit-- for now!

This one needed several different points of view so I had to go with the rare five panel comic. We cut back and forth from all the mains and Blaine to get all the setup for the end of the arc in tomorrow's strip. I really don't like the small panels in a five panel strip so I'm not happy with much of the art here, but I had to sacrifice some of it for the sake of story telling.

Panel one is referencing Thursday's strip, but from there I wanted her to get pissed off. Having her mad, but in John's shirt when it's so over sized for her makes me laugh and by the end she's back to being BAMF Lyn.
