You can download the Ardour 5 session for this track!
This is one of the first tracks I made entirely with Zyn-Fusion.
Since it's release under GPL is coming closer (Mark quietly announced that it'll happen mid-december 2017), I've decided to finally learn it well, so I'm doing all my creative work with it right now.
I'm digging the new Macro Control feature. I'm reporting a lot of bugs though, as it's still a bit ro...

A guy named Douglas asked me yesterday on Soundcloud how can he make a scratched record sound, so instead of writing a tutorial for him I decided to record a quick and dirty video.
And why not start a mini-series called "quick requests"?
Also - you can see Zyn-Fusion, the new single-window, scalable, multi-platforms, slick GUI for ZynAddSubFX in action on my channel for the first time.

I'm starting a new series to share my mind about various music related topics - to separate this type of content from the technical videos showing you how to use tools directly (the UV series).
In this one I talk about why I started making tutorials and what makes me angry about most of tutorials on YouTube.
I also share some great resources fro learning sound synthesis that helped me a lot along the way, and that inspired me in a good way to create tutorials for the open-source mu...

REKSUB is a combination of keys that one can press when holding Alt+SysRq on a Linux system to shut it down trying to prevent data loss.
I made up this word to memorize the sequence.
Also it sounds a bit like "Wreck Subwoofer" - so a bass heavy four-on-the-floor track would be appropriate.
Here's a little preview of what I made today - enjoy, my Dear Patrons :)

In this almost 50-minute video I explain how FM synthesis works at it's core, and extend on this by creative three patches:
· Electric Piano
· Electric Bass
· Growl Bass
Hopefully this will give you a nice understanding of how FM creates the sounds we hear, what we hear and why the technique is so cool.
You can also download the Ardour session created in this video:

I've finally made the decision to scratch another itch and start a new video series.
It's going to be called URI (unfa rambling indefinitely).
I've already recorded first 18-minute video, while talking a walk home form a bus top (traffic jams can inspire creativity!).
I wanted to talk about various ideas and share my mind on many music-production, creativity, and software-related matters, but without making that strictly tutorials, and without taking big efforts to edit the ...

I've stated some goals and switched the funding model from per creation to per month. It's simpler and seems to match what I do better. Also makes more sense to the goals I came up with.
