Aaand the next one, dear patreons!
One of my favorite early song but I've always felt desperately lack of guitars even it hasn't the main role there as in Firebreath.
It was also some challenge since I'd like to have both meaty guitars and lead synth but they are too close to exist together in virgin forms so I had to separate it creatively.
I think now I like the sound and I really hope You'll find it worth remaster as well ^_^

For my opinion, it was one of my failed remixes. I mean the tension of such tracks should be much more than I did and, actually, using not real guitars turned this track into thin and weak thing.
So for the album version the most and first-of-all upgrade was certainly using the real guitar as well as less "crispy-kick-in-your-face" EDM-style mixing but more meaty and heavy sound.
I really should've remixed Firebreath one of the last...

Finally, I've finished my new mixing studio in new apartment!
It took a bit more time than I expected as usual xD, but it's finally done \o/
Looking back to my previous studios I must say that was and still is a great experience!
I get rid of most of my equipment which were synths, mics, soundcards, fx processors and so on but magically my soud quality just improved since then xD

Despite it was pure electronic track there are not so many software synths in the project as I expected, this time a lot of rendered samples was used and even "freezed" synths.
Maybe it's time to think of changing my studio computer =O

Here we go! My first try on UT2004 release.
Also it's my first "live photo" try to make video with static image at background with some animations there. I should say, so far it's much more harder than I thougt and the result is too modest while I've spent quite a lot of time to make the video.
I think I'll combine it with some other techniques if I decide to make something like one more time xD

So, I have some current projects to do, the UT99 studio remix album is in low-energy parallel way (since it's just mixing now), we have some NES remix You've voted in previous polls but in general it's time for us to decide the further strategy of my work. Should it be any other "mission" of remixes series or maybe I should remix particular tracks from particular sources or maybe try to make my own songs\album... Here's also all synth sounds I've used and stems pack. For those who interested, "heavy guitars" was created by layering Dune3 "Ancient Prophecy" preset (included in vsti pack) with Prominy V-Metal Kontakt samples libray (not included).

I think it's the very first time when I actually like the distorted sounds, I mean it's much more easier for me to ask\hire the guitarist for heavy guitar job, but software guitars layered with some synth for this particular project sounds pretty well, in my opinion.
Anyway, maybe I'll remake it with real guitar for Studio Album, who knows...

The movie I pick for the clip was the instant choice while I was making the tune, despite the fact the original Pacific Rim theme by Ramin Djawadi is absolutely unbeatable and fit the picture perfectly, I've decided to use that footage as well for my remix.
