The next Nachthunger Story Verse will go online later today.
In addition to the card layout i also created a wider version without the frame, so I can put it on displate and make it easier to produce prints.
I also added the sketch for this painting as well as a sketch for a potential boss enemy in the sanctum. I am planning to have some kind of epic battle to get the vision key.
The knight decides to go get the vision key next. He delves into the realm of the terror eyes. The princess tells him, that those terrifying creatures are the guardians of the crystal keep. They swarm around it and defend it against the upper part of the huge structure.
Now he needs to find the key hidden in their lair of darkness.

Our Hero reaches the giant door and finds an old mage standing in front of it.
The mage wants the chaos stone and gives the knight a riddle where to find the next two keystones. The Moth Key and the Vision Key.
What will our hero do? You decide!

So this piece is the actual verse 15 and shows the rhombus knight being killed in the battle around the chaos keystone. I initially though about showing the knight and the rhombus knights falling in the background but during the process I realised I liked it more with the focus on the rhombus knights.

I really enjoy speed painting at the moment! It is so refreshing to just play with some random ideas and experiment. You don't have to worry about how this and that is going to work out - you just do it. Orange helmet in front of an orange sun. Go for it! :)

The next story part for the Nachthunger Series!
The hero and the knights are approaching the golden bridge. A giant structure. As they reach the top they are facing a orb made out of lightning. It seems to contain a keystone. Probably something the knight needs later on.
What should he do?

New Story part!!
The Knight examines the floating bodies of the former Guards. It seems like the Rhombus Knights have killed them. It seems they are not protecting the Crystal Keep but invading it.
Lets see what happens when the Unsung Hero get's close to the wierd crimson light coming out of the bodies!

Strange that they guard the Crystal Keep. Why are they there? What are they up to?
They seemed to have killed the former guards. Or where they already dead when they arrived?

Or should they climb up the small stairs, out of the sight of the guards?

I am currently on my trip in the US after the Magic con in Philadelphia. So this week we will have no Nachthunger update. But next week we will start through again!

Here comes Verse 9 from the Nachthunger Saga!
The hero is delving more and more into the crystal city of Wyss and sees the big spire. The keep of the royal palace. The queen of the city is hoarding her treasures at the very tip of the huge structure.
Her daughter - ones banished and cursed - and now merged with the hero's soul wants revenge and leads him toward the most valuable and powerful artefact - the shard of one of the stars, smashed in the war between sun and moon.
