Gantz - Last Chance!

In about 8 hours, Gantz will be converted to a premiere and will no longer be accessible until it goes live tomorrow.

Two Quick Things

1. Welcome to the newcomers. A reminder - audio is generally recorded a few weeks in advance, so while you may see yourself on the intro patron list, this may not be reflected in the outro verbal thanks. You can generally expect this about two weeks after joining.

2. Made in Abyss should be up for patrons this Friday, but it might be Sat or Sun. We'll see. Regardless, after this it'll be Uzumaki which will take at least two weeks again as it's a deep dive.

Gantz - 9000 Subscriber Megaspecial

Here we go! A bit earlier than anticipated. Public release will be next week Friday.

A Tentative Schedule Moving Forward...

Gantz should be out the first week of April, followed by Made in Abyss Volume 7 part 1 and the next theories video.

Then we'll finish Uzumaki, Satougashi and then, as has been so heavily requested, a deep dive on Bibliomania.

A reminder - while patron release days will ideally be Monday or Tuesday and public releases will be on Fridays, videos - moving forward - will be done when they are done.

A Short Delay

Yeah...unfortunately as I sort of anticipated, Gantz will take a week longer than I'd planned. The intro sequence and a few other parts are a lot of work and...well, let's just say that there's a lot of other stuff going on IRL right now.

So, rather than coming out on the 25th for you, it'll be the 1st of April, with the public release being the Friday of that week.

You'll see why it's taking a while then.

April will probably be Made in Abyss and the second half of Satougash...

Gantz Progress!

Slowly but surely coming together - about 90 minutes of audio all told, now to edit it all together. Will hopefully have this out on schedule for the last week of March - we will see though as next week is stupidly busy IRL.

What's genuinely funny is I might be at 10k faster than anticipated and you know what that means...

Let's just say, everyone who enjoys longform content is in for a treat. 

Okie dokie

Gantz is going well, should have recording done by the end of Friday and this means that we should be on track for a last-week-of-March release date. Big video but hopefully entertaining.

Just an advance thing - Mrs. Owl, as will be announced in the video, is going to start doing art commissions in April, and patrons get half off. 

So...

Hard at work on the next thing (Gantz part 1, which doubles as my 9000 subscriber celebration) and, without too much elaboration, there's no way this is going to be ready in even 2 weeks. 

The sheer amount of research and scripting that's going into this is second only to that iceberg video I did.

So right now I'm targeting the 25th of March for the patron release with that Friday being the public release.

You...you will see why when it comes out.

Good News And Weird News

Okay, so. The next Made in Abyss script was...bad. Like really bad. Going to be starting over on it and doing it justice.

Instead, we'll be going right from next week's Uzumaki video into...Gantz part 1, as there won't be a video the following week anyway due to IRL stuff and this will take two, possibly 3 weeks to finish (I predict part 1 of...honestly, 10? will be over an hour long). Going to be an absolute banger.

Then we'll do a theories video, then volume 7.

Schedule for March!

Tentative, as always.

Keep in move that we'll be moving towards longer videos with likely slightly fewer a month. With that in mind:

- Next week *might* be Uzumaki part 1, but I suspect that'll need another week in the oven as it's a big video.

- Then it'll be Made in Abyss theories and Made in Abyss: Volume 7 part 1. 

The video after that will almost certainly be Gantz part 1 and...oh man am I excited to start that one. 

Made in Abyss: Volume 6 part 2

Link, as always, is at bottom. Today we'll be debuting the new style, involving animations used (with permission) created by Mickel Pickel.

I still intend to do one of these a month, but the addition of animated portions makes editing a lot slower.

Super Secret Schedule Changes Revealed!

Shhh, don't tell anyone. Very secret things going on over here!

Okay. So maybe not quite as cloak and dagger as all that, just trying to make it look mysterious for the sake of the post preview ^_^. 

Anyway, as posted on Layer 8 on the Discord, we'll be changing gears slightly.

- This coming week will be Satougashi part 1, an absolute monster of a video.

- The week after will be Made in Abyss V6p2.

- After that, it'll be a theories video, then the first part...

A Reminder

No video this week, hard at work on the 1hr-ish video that was *supposed* to be for Valentines day, but is actually going to be one of my favorite videos I've ever made. Next week for sure.

A Small Scheduling Change (and some announcements)

Firstly, thanks to those who showed an interest in Mrs. Owl's D&D campaign. Unfortunately we didn't have enough people so we'll postpone it to summer, which is when she'll have free time next. 

I will hopefully do mine in either late March or early April, depending of course on Baby Owl and IRL.

1 slot open for Mrs. Owl's campaign starting this Saturday, running 4x sessions - 11am PST until 2pm. Free for patrons. Chedder and a few others are in, just looking to fill that last slot.

An Idea...

Okay, so - as mentioned before, I'm slowly but surely polishing and working on my novel, which is roughly half done at this point (and already a chonker). Longtime patrons will get it for free, up to a certain point.

I also am considering releasing it as a series of illustrated radio plays, read by me and illustrated by the very talented Mrs. Owl, but we'll have to see how this year progresses.

I'm also working hard on the D&D campaign with April being where we aim to start it...

Okay, coming back a bit sooner than anticipated so here's what we're looking at.

Next week will be MIA vol 6 part 1, should be out for patrons by Monday.

Just another updated (but still very tentative) schedule as to what I'll be covering in the new year.

First up, as mentioned previously we'll be doing our first video covering season 2 of Made in Abyss (vol 6 through 10) which will be a massive series and likely taking the entire year.

We'll also be doing Magical Girl Apocalypse, My Hero Academia as a patron request and the Ringu manga (which is it's own thing) as well as another patron request - Violence Jack.
