This is a nice little intro to a new series I'm going to be working on where I combine my nature photography (Which I'm a complete noob at, so will be a good incentive to get out more and work ) with my illustration work. Hopefully making new narratives and story-telling artworks in a slightly different way ^-^

As a thank you for 800+ followers on twitter, I decided I wanted to make another illustration ad Ombra fact. I used this one as a style study ad a way to improve what I've felt I've been failing on recently.

This was such a fun challenge! I adore things relating to the ocean and couldn't resist joining in on this month's art challenge in my discord server.

This was such a fun, but a challenging, piece to do! I wanted to give a more soft look to this illustration and this pose was particularly tricky with the for-shortening.

Bit of a serious post here with regards to my Patreon and what I do with it with some of the major changes coming up that Patreon is implementing.
To start with, the outrageous fees they're taking from both me and you. I am barely getting half of what people pledge to me and, as a small creator, that hurts... a lot. Patreon is also looking to force annual billing too. While I don't mind people pledging at different times a month, Patreon no longer takes...
As a gift to my awesome partner, I created the first of the Closed species adoptable series for him. Meet Ciar, a handsome but psychotic asshole with the feral form of a Komodo Dragon.
I love him already and can't wait to share his background once it's all put together

I just wanted to take this moment to wish you all a very happy new year! I know 2020 has been utter shit... but we can hopefully take some positives from the year. All of us have little mini victories in some way or another, so we'll hold onto those and look to 2021 with new experiences and survival knowledge.
