Abella & Minerva the Moths: Part Two (complete)

Male Reader (cis) + Female Monsters (wlw)

The last time I had been in Abella and Minerva’s house was just before I graduated. I was setting them up with someone else who could take care of their lawn since I would be away for college. Abella had made a rather big lunch, I suppose she was trying to get me to linger for a bit before I had to go.

“Are you sure you want to go into law of ...

November Update: New Changes

In order to keep from losing what’s left of my sanity (thanks plagiarism!) and to keep bringing y’all some good content, I’m changing from posting three times a week to twice a week.

I know this may be a disappointment to some of you, and I may lose your patronage, but with how much I’ve lost in followers already, it’s not cost effective for me anymore. I might as well be giving shit away for free.

So from now on until the foreseeable future, I will be posting on Tuesd...

Burnout Chronicles Part 57: I was Plagiarized

For those of you who weren't aware, this weekend gave to ma a new an very terrifying challenge. One of my stories was plagiarized and posted on Amazon. Yes! It was an extreme whirlwind over 24 hours which saw a huge movement on twitter and tumblr, reviews being turned off for the story on amazon, and eventually the story being taken down.

It was stressful to say the least. Also very eye opening. I had been planning on making more stories patreon exclusive, but this sort of cements it to...

CYOA: The Romance

Since the CYOA will be in second person POV, it's time we begin discussing matters of the heart since appearance and the like won't be an issue.

For now we are going to vote upon the romance aspect! Vote down below for hwat you'd like to see, or leave a comment if you don't see anything you like.

CYOA: Stage Two

So the absolute winners of the first two polls were Second POV, and the universe winner was Demon's Hide which includes Hearthway Hollow and Mr. Faire. Now, we are getting into specifics. Let's decide the setting of this story.

You're Dead: Chapter Eight (special preview)

For two weeks, I stayed with Bowie. I know it was my own cowardice, but I simply couldn’t go back and face the truth. I didn’t want to be dead. I certainly didn’t want to be a psychopomp. I liked Bowie, being with him felt comfortable. I could feel myself falling for him.

Bowie didn’t ask me many questions either. He didn’t need to know why I stayed with him, why I had nothing to my name. He was happy to have me around. He even told me how nice it was that he finally had some ...

You're Dead: Chapter Seven (rough draft)

It’s never really fun to find yourself in a place that’s strange to you, even worse when that place is full of strangers. All my life I had avoided such an occurrence. I never really wandered far from home. I never really left the side of people I knew. So when I found myself sitting in a house I had never seen before, I was quite baffled. Especially since I had fallen asleep on the floor of Bowie’s loft.

The house was old, Victorian maybe. The house from Clue, also a maybe. I was...

Abella & Minerva the Moths (complete)

Male Reader x Female MOnsters (nonromantic)

When I was growing up, I used to mow lawns during the summer to earn money. There was one house which my mother purposefully sent me to that no right minded kid would walk right up to. The old ladies who lived there were said to be witches who used the bodies of kids to raise their honey bees.

Of course, this was all just stories. The two old women turned out to be very nice. The more I worked for them, I realized they were j...

CYOA Polls: a so far reaction

I just took a look at the polls for the first time since posting yesterday, and while I’ll keep them going for a bit I just wanted to post my reaction.

Ya’ll really went in the opposite direction of expectations. Ya’ll really got me scrambling here. Which is fine! That’s what I wanted from this new adventure. But I just had to laugh and share that.

Thank you for those who voted! And for those of you who haven’t I highly suggest that you do! The more results I get the be...

You're Dead: Chapter Six (rough draft)

By the time The Buffalo was set to open, Clover was stinking drunk. I had not been paying close attention to her, and she had replaced her water with vodka. Bowie and I took her home, dragging her back to our apartment. Her apartment.

“I don’t wanna be here!” Clover fought us as we took her inside. She tried escaping, but Bowie could easily hold her and move her around. “No!” Clover fell over his arm and whined. “I don’t wanna,” her voice cracked.

I led Bowie to he...

Atmais the Dragon Mimic: Part Two (complete)

I hadn’t been in the woods since I was little. I guess I hadn’t been there since the last time I saw Atmais. It was strange going through the trees, looking for him again. Despite all this time, I found I was still able to follow the landmarks I did as a child. There was more overgrowth, but I could recognize the rocks and trees that had served as my guideposts. There was the spot where I used to...

Your Favorite Universe

As I try to put together the CYOA I plan on starting, I'm reaching out to you for which of my universes is your favorite. I have ideas for a couple, but I'd rather know which one would be the most exciting for the majority of my patrons. Vote below, and if you feel like it, comment why it's your favorite. I'll be so excited to see those.

CYOA: Let’s Talk

I mentioned in a post before I was considering a CYOA to invigorate this Patreon.

It’ll take time to plot and plan as well as prepare the first chapter. But what I’ll need going forward is what all of you would like to see. I’ll be putting up polls soon to get a better assessment of everything. But for now, I’d love to chat and see what you would like to see.

Would you want some from Ruby Empire? Mr. Faire? Perhaps something new? Lean into tropes? Would you want to help c...

You're Dead: Chapter Five (rough draft)

Freddie:

There were lights on at Stevie’s place, but her truck wasn’t parked outside. Hopefully the girl called her and got to her, although she ran off sooner than I had expected. The left side of my body ached as I got out of my car. The pain was dull but irritating. Fighting Grace wasn’t something I wanted to do. We had been friends once a long time ago, and I guess I allow that to hold me back even now.

I walked into Stevie’s house, finding Booker laid across the sofa ...

A long time ago, in what almost feels like a different world, I grew up with my grandparents. My grandfather owned and operated a small airport on the island where we lived. The island of Blackforte was a tourist destination, and the airport had two planes going in and out at all times. My grandfather flew one of the planes, while an old war friend of his operated the other. It was my drea...

Burnout 2: Thinking Out Loud

In an attempt to be more personal here and include ya'll in on what will happen, I'm just going to start posting when I feel it. I'm starting off with just making. a list of things I want to do in the future in hopes of taking my patreon from stale to fresh.

1. CYOA style story where you will vote on what will happen within the story and episodes will post every week or whatever.

Burnout

If you haven’t seen elsewhere, I had a bit of a breakdown yesterday. I snapped and had to admit I am suffering from burnout.

I won’t go into detail and bore ya’ll, but I will be taking a break, but this may not be obvious as I keep the queue posted for a few weeks in advance.

My main goal in making this post is to once again ask what I can do to make this Patreon a great place you wanna be and stay. I’ve been on autopilot here and I want to apologize deeply.

As I t...

Freddie took me to the downtown area, which was very close to where my old apartment was. I watched the buildings as we drove past them, remembering how I would walk the same streets. I leaned a little closer to the window just to see the alley where Clover’s night club was.

“I just detailed, don’t touch the glass,” Freddie warned.

I pulled back with disdain and slouched in my seat. “How did you afford a Porsche anyways?” I asked.

I was wed to an up and coming vinter, a man with expectations and plans for how his future was to be rolled out. Gregory chose me for my looks, which is nothing...

You're Dead: Chapter Three (rough draft)

It felt strange to wake up. I couldn’t put my finger on it exactly, but stirring that morning didn’t feel normal. It took a while for my brain to start back up, to remind me that the day before was not a dream. I died, but I remained. I was separated from everything I knew. I died and now I was a psychopomp. Whatever the hell that was.

The weight of the blankets on me felt heavy and for a moment I thought it was my sister snuggled up against me. When we were young, I woke up so ofte...

A man moved into our town. This should not have been the news that it was, except for the fact he came with very little notice. He bought the old winemaker’s manor along with its vineyard. The place had been abandoned for years as the previous owners had lost everything during the drought. It would have sold long ago had they not killed themselves inside those walls. The man who moved in did not se...

Just as we were about to walk towards Stepford Steppes Stevie’s phone went off. She had me wait a second while she checked the alert. “Oh fuck no!” She slammed the door shut right in my face and ran back around to the driver’s seat.

“Freddie can wait! This is bullshit!” Stevie drove out of that parking lot so fast I thought I would see swat cars chasing her.

I lifted myself up, having fallen between the seats and into the aisle when she slammed the door on me. I looked...

I was hired onto the Prowd staff when I was very young. Lady Blythe had taken me in despite my youth and gave me both employment as well as a roof over my head. For that I will be forever grateful. Mr. Prowd bought this place a long time ago and revived the vineyard to w...
