This was voted for all the way in Jan 2023(!) and the build was not quite as simple as I was hoping for. As is par for the Kotobukiya course, there's a ton of seamlines:

I'm still feeling slightly demotivated after the disasterous GP02 build, so I started this 30MS as a side project to help get my spirits up. Solomon GP02A

Build number 7 for 2024 done! This was probably the longest build in recent memory clocking in at around 63 hours. I had a very rough start to this build, the kit had a part missing when I received it so it had to be put on ice for a good month before I could really start. Then at the end I botched some decals and broke a peg on one of the arms, so I had to purchase a 2nd kit to finish the job.

I'm on the board for 2024! Decided to finally overcome my fear of doing skin tones again and do musumes once more. 

The Siana skin tone is a bit darker than what I've been used to painting, and at first I thought there would be some bit of brown in the mix. Turns out it's just more orange than anything.

In 2022 I built a yet to be posted Tekkaman themed Lfrith, so I had a spare shield for this build. I decided to test out thinning Mr Hobby Aqueous which is supposed to be an acrylic with Mr Levelling Thinner and to my surprise it worked out pretty well. I was even able to mix white lacquer paint into it with no ill side effects.

Diver Ayame photoshoot

Hey guys, I've been doing my daily photoshoots and my 2nd kit for the year was the Ayame I build back in 2020.

Yet again the shoot ended early as the eye decal on the ninja mask face decided to chip off :S 

Soon thereafter one of the hair pegs broke too. This isn't looking good for 2024 so far but I'll promise to keep pushing on!

Build no.26 for 2023 - HG Demi Barding

The Demi Barding was yet another impressive entry in the HG WFM line, though this one required a bit more masking that the others. The grey details on the shoulders and chest all required detailing, and I ended up painting those colors in first then used the included stickers to mask them off.

Despite this the total build time was only around 16 hours.

Build no.27 for 2023 - HG Schwartzette

This was build number 27 for 2023, completed on 11th November.

The Schwartzette is yet another winner from the Witch from Mercury line. Seamlines are worked in as panels, and a million play options with the sword-thingy make this a must have in my opinion.
