Hello everyone! Lately I have been somewhat disconnected, many of the new members have not received any welcome message, sorry.
This is actually due to a future change in my life that has forced me to start a lot of tasks that prevent me from keeping up with the patreon and its deadlines. For the more insightful, yes we are pregnant!! Therefore, and although I have been postponing this decision as long as possible, I feel the need to pause the patreon for a long time.
So this coming month you will no longer be charged, and, in fact, I will block access to new members until I have the time available again to continue this project with the quality that I have achieved in these last sets.
All members of the highest tier with stores, feel free to continue selling the models even if the patreon is paused, I love to see my models being sold ^_^. And all the rest of you feel free to stay, I'll try to finish some occasional loose model will or missing model from a set. And don't worry, I'll notify you before starting the patreon again, also here you have access to all the models ;)... those who did not sign up on time will not have that luck.
I'm still pending to release the last model of the current set that I have already finished but I want to finish printing it to see that there is no problem, so I will upload it soon.
As for me, I will try to continue modeling, it really is something that I am passionate about, but without deadlines every month since that is what I find impossible to maintain. I have a lot to finish and a lot of things to prepare before the baby arrives, but we are very happy so it will not be difficult to do everything that is necessary.
But as some members who are in discord will remember I wanted to make my own dungeon system and I managed to do a part of what I wanted, surely I will continue that project more calmly now. So it is possible that even if the patreon is stopped, you will see a project in KS, if I finally have some free time!
Although I am convinced that we will start again the patreon as soon as I have time again, it has been very difficult for me to make this decision, it has been several years now and the truth is that you have always been a great community and I feel bad leaving you without your monthly models, but really right now I could not continue. But don't worry, the discord it's still there so you can ask me anyithing, share your printed and painted models or whatever you want to discuss and I'll try to keep you informed of any news as they arrive!
Hey guys, it's time to decide if we start a new set. This year between the lengthening of the dwarf set, the kickstarter and many loose models and extra pieces of old sets, not too many complete sets will have come out. So it's time to choose! This time the options are:
- Steampunk Neighborhood: More pipes and some Victorian buildings, perhaps the original reference does not show much how the whole set will be and it is something that I am not entirely sure of either, hehe.
- Sunken Temple: Some sunken ruins with a slightly Greek style, columns, towers and temples, all demolished.
- City of Intrigues: The set inspired by the Artisan Guild's August models. In this case we would continue to generate more buildings with this corrupted and lustful desert city aesthetic. In principle, with a tower, some trading posts or small houses and a modular aqueduct.
- Ruined Church: Here we would go for the classic! A complete church in ruins with its walls and its cemetery, which you have asked me for more than one!
- More random stuff: In this option we will not start a new set this month but we will make a couple of new models to have more options next month and this time we will vote on what the new set will be.
Hi guys. I don't usually do promotions or personalized orders because I don't have time, between Patreon and what's pending on Kickstarter, it's usually impossible for me. But when your favorite minis designer, Artisan Guild asks you to cross-promote, you just can't say no XD.
So I've been working a little harder than usual to get this model inspired by the Artisan Guild miniatures set out this August.
As always happens with the Artisan Guild miniatures, I love the level of detail that they have, the necessary to make them very cool but without going too far and you have to waste a lot of time painting. In addition to that style between realistic and cartoon that ends up being able to get very spectacular figures that you can use in wargames or role-playing games. In fact I have enjoyed painting the figures you see, they are some the ones from this month's set, which you still have time to catch if you join their patreon, although I like next month's even more!
I know that many of you are already members of his patreon, but for those who are not yet, go take a look at his work on his patreon!:
Well about the model, as you can see it is a large one! As usual, I have separated it into pieces and I have managed to make hanging elements thanks to separating the upper ring into two parts, both anchored to each other so that you will not need to glue anything. I hadn't tried doing this type of design on parts that are printed upside down but I think it gives a lot of versatility without having to end up using supports.
I hope you enjoy it and and I encourage you, if you have a resin printer, to take a look at the work of the Artisan Guild (although I'm sure almost all of you already know it). In fact, as the simple models (not the set ones) I end up posting it for free on Thingiverse or MMF after a few months, in this case I will make an exception so so that the members of their patreon can also already have this model to be able to combine with their minis... So I have shared the files with the people of Artisan Guild and I will put this post open, let's see if anyone dares to come also to this patreon ;)
By the way, I think it's time to do a new survey and start a new group, what you think?... I have this one, the ruined church, steampunk Neighborhood, and the ruins of contemporary town (and the elven islands and demonic emplacement, but these were the last in the vote)... I can do some new models next month or start new set... not sure.
Hello! As you may know, I've been working on a Kickstarter campaign for years, before the patreon and even before starting doing free models in thingiverse and, and it's finally finished!! OMG I'm really tired of this proyect, too long. My intention is to publish it this Saturday July 9th and here is the link to the campaign page that is currently in pre-launch.
It has been a huge job to finish this project without affecting the patreon models, but I don't say it as a bad thing, in fact without the patreon and the support you have given me I would surely have left the project unfinished a long time ago. I managed to convince my girlfriend to help me with the management part of KS to avoid further delays with the patreon (that's why her name comes out if you check the KS profile for this campaign... I think we made a mistake somewhere step that can't be undone XD) so although this month I will be a little more aware of the KS, I'll try to avoid further delays with Patreon because I haven't been able to finish the third release for several months!
So again, thank you all for the constant support and thanks to my girlfriend for helping me with the management of the KS that will avoid possible delays of your monthly models, I hope ;). And I hope that the campaign interests you and you like it. I have put 250 Early Bird slots, maybe there are many but I would not like any of you to be left without, so remember to activate the campaign notification!
And for the impatient, you can download the free samples both on my thingiverse profile and on myminifactory:
Hi all! Finally I got some time to finish the chests collection (the original chests were 4 but I didn't like one of them so now the collection is just 3 chests XDD).
So here you have it, the last one and my new favorite one. As the other ones you can use the same lock mechanism, but the key needs to be a little bit longer. Also I've added a new key decoration for this chest. It's slightly bigger than the others but still fits a 20x20 standar printer. My recommendation is to print all at 70% if you don't want such a big chest. I'll upload soon at Thingiverse and MyMiniFactory as the other ones, but I wanted you to enjoy it first.
So enjoy it while I'm printing the tree models for the second month release.
Hi all! While I manage to do the next model which I'm not really sure about what to do, here you have a fast model I made just to do something while I clarify with the new model. So, now that is done, enjoy the model. It the waygate from the amazon prime series based on the wheel of time book.
It's been a really fast to do model, even more while I diod't have to imagine how it was, just following the reference ;)
Hi, first post of the year! We are starting again some random buildings before choosing the next set. So this time you have a dwarf house. I've separated into 3 pieces yo be able to have a flat roof. Hope you enjoy this house. I've also made a non floor version of the base for those who don't need the interior and want to save material and time.
Hi guys! I know I'm a few days ahead of time, but I wanted to make your holidays a little bit cheery! I have managed to find time this month to do something different and special to end the year in addition to the models that I am already making regularly.
Ironically, it took me longer to paint everything than to make the models. I do not know if it will interest you all, since there are not so many games with a hexagonal board. I've done it mostly with WH Underworlds in mind, although there are a few more games these pieces can fit into, both wargames and board games (I have in mind to paint a set for my copy of "super fantasy brawl"), so I hope that you enjoy them.
This has been a really amazing year, I didn't think this patreon was going to grow so much during the year and I wanted to thank you all for the great support you give me. Since I did this as a Christmas present, I will also post it on thingiverse and myminifactory for everyone to enjoy, but here you have it a couple of days before!
Again, thank you very much for your support, I hope you enjoy it and happy holidays to all of you!
Weeee!!! We have finally reached 200 members, thank you very much to all of you! I really did not believe that we would get to be so many when I started this patreon and less in such a short time. I am very grateful to you and I hope you continue to enjoy the models that I am making.
This month, in addition to the pieces of the set, I have been preparing this to thank you all for having reached 200 and I hardly had time to paint it and prepare the post on time hehe.
So here you have it, I wanted to resurrect some of the first models that I made and that although they are not the most downloaded, many people have asked me about them, the dice towers with a tray. This one in particular, although it does not match the ones I already made, it does have a space to leave the dice while they are not being used, so you have everything at hand.
Hope you enjoy it, and again, thank you so much you are awesome!!
Hello, as a parton suggested to me, we have a kind of Viking house. I wanted to avoid the typical triangular house and try to make a more rounded one inspired by their boats. I hope you like it, it has 3 pieces, the floor, the ceiling and the door. And no, I didn't paint the inner part of the ceiling, but you can do it XD.
As this month I have had free days from my job, I have been able to advance this release a bit, so we can vote this month and see what set of pieces we start the following months!
This time I had time to make the models, paint them and take the photos before the end of the middle of the month !! Also, since I'm on vacation, I have almost finished the next model.
In this case it is a modular bridge with its normal size version and another super wide one for those of you who play classic warhammer and have to move large units ... I don't have a river on which to put it T_T. I think it is an scenery piece that has already been done many times, but it is always useful and I had not done any yet.
It really fits with the whole of the ruined town, and if you want other types of bridge you just have to ask me for them.
Hi! Had some troubles with the attaching holes between the island and the base, but now it's all fixed and it attaches really well. Here you have the dark elves floating island hehe. So you can have both. Since I had to do some tests to see how the pieces painted looked, I also made a single floating pillar (yes the file is "pilar" sorry for my english hehe) and a broken one so this release is a little bit bigger than the other island.
Hoping you all enjoy this model... Maybe it is a little bit specific for some of you so the next model will be a more generic piece, a modular stone bridge, maybe there are a lot for printing but it is something that is always useful.
Since the random stuff was the least voted, I don't want to repeat that option in the next poll so only have the orc and the elves islands... so next month I'll make new models to have 2 more options... Not sure about the last one... I've been suggested for dwarven, halflings, egyptians and some tundra which I'm not sure how to make... also I was thinking of some vyking style building... Let me know in the comments for more ideas or the most you want ;)
Hi all! I had the base for one more chest so while I'm finishing the next scenery model I decided to finish first this chest that should be the first one to make a remake. I plan to make 3 of them to complete the set and this one should have been the first one, not the second XD... So here you have it, you can use the same lock mechanism and I added a new key decoration which I already had but didn't publish... So enjoy the chest while I'm finishing the next model!! As the other chest, this will go directly to thingiverse once I have some free time XD
Hi! Lets start with the new set. I have to admit that this two week I've done very little work on the patreon models (bought a new resin printer, first one, and had to print a lot of things and paint some minis... I barely remembered how to paint something other than scenery >_< )... But here you have the first model of the set, a broken rock with a sculpted face surrounded by two trees! It's so easy to paint that today I had time to check that it has been printed well and paint it.
Usually the second model is the biggest main one, but since I'm not really sure exactly what to do, I'll start with the walls... So the next models will be the "modullar" (this time I will not use clips to attach them) walls to make a simple fortification or maze I'll try to make a combination of stones and trees.
Well, it was a pretty close poll, I even think there was a time with a triple tie. Finally two were tied so I used my vote to untie and opted for the set that had been going the longest. Even so, the fact that the votes are so distributed makes me think that you like all three, so I'll see if I do them all in order or I will generate more random models between sets to continue choosing with new options. Finally my favorite has been in 3rd place so at the moment the floating temple T_T is not going to be made.
So, the winner has been the magic forest set. As I normally make modular pieces and fixed pieces, this one is not going to be any different. I will try to make useful pieces as well as pretty and reasonable sizes. They will be wall of stones, trees (I have to see how to make the leaves !!) and vines trying to give the forest a magic touch;) ... we will see what comes out.
Since this month I have not uploaded any models to Thingiverse in the next few months I will upload the original models that have been finalists of the poll while I make the new set.
Hi! I finally finished printing the whole piece and it works fine !! This time I made a floating elf island ... maybe because this month GW will release a new Aelves scenario? Okay, yes!!
It's been a really difficult piece to design and it took me longer than I expected, but it's finally done. It is also the first piece where you will need to glue a part (the island and the bottom of it) since you cannot print the whole piece without using supports and I hate supports.
I will also post the painted piece as soon as I have finished it ... And that's it as I have enough different loose models so I will post a new survey soon to decide the next set of pieces so I can start with them the next one month and also be able to publish a free piece on thingiverse (surely this or the one that wins the survey).
... I also need some time to update the permissions of the Google Drive and update it with the new patreons, T_T ... If I don't, ask for permissions to this link that I see the notifications and it may make it faster XD
Hi all! As suggested again from one of my patreons, this time is a small orc cottage. I've splitted the model in two pieces so you can play the interior. As always without support and printable in a 20x20 printer. It was an easy piece to make but I took the time because I'm making at the same time the next piece which is a little bit more complicated... in fact, the next one, will be the first that will need some glue.
I'm painting right now... I should have used for the roof the typical WoW red color but I used some purples that could be too flashy XDD, so once I have it done I will upload the photos and if it ends up being chosen as a new set, which I'll ask once I have the next model, I think I'll paint the roof red hehe.
Hi all! Even when I was not sure if you wanted another chest, I wanted to try making a lock system no to hard to assemble so I could make a usable chest for dices or whatever you wanted. And I have to say that I'm very happy with the result and probably will keep the chest on my desk forever!! Love to see it and love to open and close it like a child XDD. As I said, it's a remake of one of my old chests and I was not very happy with the results. Now with the new version I like it much more. I've also added a small version (the same size as the original) to use in your games to replace the old one. There are a few pieces, but should be easy to assemble, also you should not need to glue any part but depending on your printer maybe you will want to glue the hing, anyway all pieces should fit and stay without problems. If you like it as much as me, maybe I'll remake the legendary chest, also making it usable... but not for the moment, now I have to continue with the scenery which I'm sure you want the most!
As some of my models, I'll make this piece free for all (the D20 chest will remain only for patreons) and I'll upload it also to Thingiverse and Myminifactory to see if more people are encouraged to join the patreon.
As always, I hope you enjoy the model and tell me in comments if you will want more chests and also if you have any trouble with the piece. Oh and I've added two different key slot, so you can use the A or B version of the key and the tumbler, that is because you may want to make more than one with different keys each.
Hello everyone, we have finally reached 50 patrons, and our second set is completed. The last one took me a all of my free of time, but I'm very happy with the result. Now I'm trying to convince some friends to start a modheim campaign to use the set!
I want to thank all of you for your support, it is difficult to maintain constancy with the project, but it really helps me to know that I have a great community that supports me and enjoys the models that I am creating.
There was a lot of time when one of my patrons ask me how I paint the scenery so I made a video of how I painted one of the last pieces, it's x4 speed and just with background music (you will have to lower your speakers, I didn't realice how high was the music XD). The only secret to paint as I do with scenery is drybrush, just that XD... Just be carefully of the amount of paint on your brush and always go from darker to lighter, it's the easiest way to paint, yes, as you see in the video, each time you grab paint you should remove some paint before painting. I use Vallejo cheap paints and some ink from GW and usually use 3 differen shades for each color and brown ink to make it dirt! I hope you enjoy the video and that it is useful to you, even with the low quality (not really sure if it's vimeo or the codec I used) .
And about next releases! Since I dont have reference models enoug to make a new poll for the next set, the following models will be the ones asked by the comunity, there is a chest for dices, some craters, and after that some buildings in different ambientations, to see which one can be the new set, orc buildings have been suggested to me and I am open to further suggestions. So stay in tune for new releases ;)
Hello people! We started new set of pieces, this time the winner of the poll was the ruined town! Just like last time, I'll be doing 4 parts of the set, which I hope didn't take more than the usual two months, I've been having a crazy few weeks lately and I also don't want to delay the dice chest too much.
As the first part, we have a two-level house, with all the playable interior. It is quite large but I have made it to fit in any printer of at least 20x20cm. For the rest of the set, I think I will try to imitate the previous one, so that the second part will be a larger building with pieces that anchor between them, maybe a part of a fortress or mansion or the town hall, the third part will be modular pieces, someone suggested some arches, so, I'll make some pieces which the first floors of the buildings could be connected with them and I will think about the last part once I can see the whole set as it is.
As always I am printing the pieces and as soon as I have them painted I will upload photos (I have had problems with one of my printers which will take me a little longer than expected). Meanwhile here you have the downloadable files and also on the drive (if you don't have access send me a message because I'm sure I've forgotten more than one, there are fewer people on the drive than on the patreon !!)
Finally printed and painted!! It is a bit large, so if you are going to play with 28mm figures you may prefer it scaled to 90%, but it seems good to me for both 28mm and 32mm.
Hi all. I've created a discord server and provided you permision to the #patreons channel in order to keep you informed about news, model updates and all kind of information related to the patreon. Also you can use the channel to make suggestions, ask for particular models, give me feedback opr talk about you want related to the patreon ;)
I'm really new with discord, I have used it very little somaybe we will need more channels for different thinks... but we'll see it and creating all the channels needed. Also if you are having any trouble with discord server let me know!
Even so I'll keep the patreon page updated as usual, discord is only to facilitate communication. You can alway send me messages here, I'll read as soon as I can, and of course I'll try to be online on discord frequently.
Hi all! As I probably told you on message when you started to suppor this project, I want you to feel free to ask me if you want a particular piece of scenery and I'll try to do it. By the time I have only received a single specific request to create a piece. This is an Eberron creation forge for Dungeons & Dragons campaings (at least if you are playing the Eberron Campaign Setting)... Well, since there is only a few reference images, is an interpretation of what could be an small creation forge XD.
That is why I want to take this opportunity to remind you that you can ask me for any specific piece that you cannot find. So start asking me for pieces! If possible not very large that I must combine it with the rest of the sets of pieces that should continue to come out.
You can download here this piece and also I'll upload this one on thingiverse. Also I'm uploading all the files to Google Drive (it took me some time but today I've finished the upload process and in the following days I'll share the folder with all of you) so you can download all files easily.
I hope you enjoy the piece, especially the person who asked for it !!
Hi all! We have the second modular piece of our dice battlefields, the orcish watchtower. I'm printign it right now, so you can wait until I've printed and painted it to see if you like it more than the humans one in case you only wanted one. Menawhile, here you can download the model, both tower aolone and tower and tray together. I will update the post with photos as soon as I've painted.
Since the dice battlefields are the less downloaded models that I have in thingiverse is very likely not to do more but I wanted to have at least two models. So I will soon post a poll to know what you want more in upcoming models.
EDITED:
Here you have the photos of the printed version... it works fine (better than the human castle) so no need to be modified. Also i've uploaded it to thingiverse, so you can download there if you want https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4540216
Hi all! Now that the Lumineth are coming to Age of Sigmar, what better than to take out an elven waystone to celebrate it. One of the first pieces of scenery I had for my High Elves. Now with more detail and adapted to the new lumineth but without losing the charm of the classic waystone.
Also I have used this model to do tests with alphas and a bit of face sculpting to get some practice!
Hi all. Finally we can release the first pieces of the little project we are starting. This is a new modular system that combines a dice tower and a dice tray where you can join two towers or just one so you can use it alone or with your opponent. At the moment we have only one tower model (the human castle) to combine, but we want to release more over time (lets see if we manage to release a new model each month). So stay up to date for the poll to decide which one will be the next model.
This is the reviewed version since the first one had an issue with dices jumping across the walls. Once we have this model painted we will upload the photos in our instagram account https://www.instagram.com/makersanvil
Also we want to introduce our own clip that we will use in future projects (and there is a big one on the horizon). You can use them to join both pieces or you can use round magnets 4x1mm but we encourage to use the clips since there are cheaper to print than buying magnets.
Hi all. We're excited to anounce a new colletction of models we are wroking in. It's the result of joining two concepts, the dice towers and the dice trays, what we call "Dice BattleField". Also, we wanted a two player tray so each player has his own tower amd both players dices fall in the same terrain, so it uses a modular system so you can combine as you like (we will make an end tray for just 1 player). For all of this, we are planning a new collection of items and we will try yo upload a new module each month or each two months depending on the reception that it have.
The idea is also that you, the patrons, could choose the next tower on every release. So stay tuned to the news so you can vote when we publish the polls for each new tower.
As you can see in the images, the tray is nearly done, but we had a problem when testing... the dices jumped the walls T_T. We're fixing this and we will upload it once we can be sure that is working fine and when we make the end tray for one player. We will provide also the tower separated so you can use only the tower... In fact the tower is done yet, so you can download if you want!
As our commitment to creating free stage content and other resources for 3D printing is growing with each new model we upload, we have created a Patreon page to help this project continue to grow.
We will try to do our best to keep this page updated with all our work hoping to offer you the models you need to improve your games! Feel free to choose the tier you feel more confortable with if you want to support us and don't hesitate to ask anithing you need.
