Hey all! I've decided that my valentines day shop update will be
SATURDAY, JANUARY 27 AT 1PM EST
usually i fulfill orders over the weekend, but I'll be taking the 26th-28th off from work so fulfillment will happen starting the 29th!
Return of the juicy baby~ the milk choco version will be joining them too for the box set! But today i tinkered with a new design before having to run to the store tomorrow, just in case i needed materials - not sure if this design will see the light of day, though! So the 2nd strawberry babies will be born next week 😌
I still haven't settled on a date for the drop but it'll be late january or early feb!
the weather cleared up enough today to snap the valentines day slice & bake dittos' photo! try not to get hungry challenge (impossible) 🤤

Here are the first two designs for my valentines day shop update - slice and bakes! While I've planned on the heart design for a while, i found these lisa frank cookies while picking up the heart ones, and i couldn't resist! I've been wanting to make nostalgia dittos for some time now, and while i still plan to make other ones, i wanted to make these too! They're not quite "valentines day"y but i think they'll fit the aesthetic well, and this year i plan on having more loose shop updates rath...

Here's a little preview of the final dragon I'll be making! He's made from minky, unlike the other 2 which are made from mochi. I still need to clean up the stray threads and brush out his seams, which I'll do over the weekend. Next week I'll be starting some valentines day dittos!

i've worked on a bunch of different things today, including finalizing the penguin pattern for release on sunday! since we're nearing the end of the month that also means i have a bunch of work to do for switching over patreon rewards to the new month and loading new items into my shop.

i've been working on the instructions for the penguin pattern reward, and today i made a penguin made from minky! here's a side by side with the mochi version so you can see the difference 🐧🐧 if you use safety eyes and use pastels for the blush, there's no embroidery required for this plush!

2024 is year of the dragon, so here's a floppy lad ready to welcome the new year! 🐉 the pattern for this fella will be january's pattern reward for those in the $5 tips & tutorial tier (to be renamed the pattern tier on jan 1) or the $10 tier! it also will come with embroidery files that fit a 4"x4" hoop.
this big boy is around 28" from toe to tail tip and is wonderfully floppy, as you can see! he's a complicated fellow, so he's a harder difficulty than some of my previous releas...

work continues on december's pattern reward over here! i completed both an adult & baby penguin today with a vectorized version of the pattern, taking photos for the instructions along the way. i'll be making their earmuffs to warm them up tomorrow!
i continued work on the penguin pattern reward today! i will be including a face pattern to make a baby penguin as well, which just involves some simple color blocking. i'm going to add another strip of black fabric to the sides too, which i'll do tomorrow to finish this guy up!

Well getting a new machine was NOT on my bingo card today 😳 say hello to my new machine, a husqvarna viking epic 2!
My viking topaz 50 gave me nothing but issues since i got it - tension problems, problems with it shredding every type of thread i gave it, etc. I heard that the this is a somewhat common issue with the topaz and since I'm a full time seamstress, it made my life more stressful than it should.
