(Full Reaction) The Wizard Of Oz (1939)

I just finished watching The Wizard of Oz and it was so beautiful! 🌈

Even though I was originally inspired to watch it after seeing Wicked: Part 1, I found myself completely swept up in Dorothy’s story and all the friendships she makes along the way. Her journey through Oz was a visual masterpiece.

I was so intrigued by the film that during my outro, I started reading behind the scenes production stories. There's a lot of history there! From the unique way they used Jell-O to the on set injuries, it made me appreciate the film even more!

This Week!

Hello! I can’t believe how fast this week is flying by? I swear I blinked and suddenly Halloween is in a handful of days. Where is the time going??

Today I realized... it’s officially the one month countdown to Wicked: Part 2 and I’m so excited!! Part 1 was such a magical masterpiece and now I’m counting down the days until we get to see the rest of Elphaba’s journey unfold on the big screen. I'm staying away from trailers so I can go into the movie without knowing what to expect.

So, this week I’ll be watching The Wizard of Oz, Agatha All Along, and The Birds.

I’m still obsessed with Hitchcock films and I look forward to seeing how The Birds measures up to Psycho and Rear Window. Not to sound dramatic, but I swear something spooky is happening. In the past few days, I’ve seen vultures, crows, and two great blue herons on my street. Are the birds watching me?? 👀 Is this a sign??

I’m hoping to get The Wizard of Oz uploaded tonight, but it’s uploading to YT slower than usual for some reason. Send good vibes to the internet gods!

Rear Window was my second Hitchcock film, and I had such a great time watching it! I think I might’ve enjoyed it even more than Psycho. The cast was charming, the mystery kept me hooked, and the whole neighborhood setting felt surprisingly cozy despite the suspense.

This show is so good! I'm obsessed. Not only does Agatha make the perfect main character but I love the direction this show is going in. The cast has great chemistry and the Witches Road is such a cool concept!

This has easily become one of my favorite Disney films! Cruella is one of the all-time great Disney villains. Overall, this movie was adorably wholesome. Since the puppies were born in the month of October, this is the perfect time of year to watch this film!

This Week!

Hi friends 💛

What a whirlwind of a week it’s been! I just got back from Virginia, where one of my dearest friends (who I’ve known since daycare!) got married. I had the absolute honor of being one of her bridesmaids. My heart is still so full!

Being up north this time of year was such a treat. The fall leaves were beautiful and I finally got to pull out my cozy coats that haven't seen the light of day in sunny Florida! Despite it being in the 30s, we all sat round a campfire, roasting s’mores. It was pure magic.

And yes, I did see sheep along the Virginia countryside, but the true MVP of the trip was a miniature horse named Cupcake. She looked like Lil’ Sebastian from Parks and Rec, and I was basically starstruck. 🐴✨

Now that I’m back home, there’s nothing that screams Halloween more to me than this week’s reactions. Witches, Cruella de Vil, and even a Hitchcock classic! 👻

I’ve been counting down the days to Agatha All Along. It feels like forever since they announced it, so fingers crossed it lives up to the hype.I haven’t seen 101 Dalmations since I was a kid. Since I’ve been exploring older Disney movies, this seemed like the perfect one to watch. Cruella is such an iconic villain.

And since I enjoyed Psycho so much, I’m diving deeper into Hitchcock’s world. I’ll be putting up a poll today to help pick which of his classics to watch next. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

Over on YouTube this week, I’ll be uploading my reactions to Game Night and Ted Lasso Season 3, Episode 5. Game Night was such a fun surprise. It was way more thrilling and hilarious than I expected!

This movie was incredibly silly and a lot of fun! I think my favorite part was when Owen Wilson led us through a "prayer". I really enjoyed seeing the haunted mansion come to life and seeing this group of people bond over such a freaky haunting!

Okay, this was actually a really enjoyable last couple of episodes. I really enjoyed the season finale! We get a lot more Fisk in these two, which I both love and hate. He's such a great villain. There's a post credit scene after episode 5 that you will not want to miss!!!

P.S. I know that the next show is technically X-Men 97 (which I've heard is incredible!) But since it's Halloween, I figured I'd watch Agatha All Along for the next MCU project and X-Men 97 after it. So, I'm just switching the order of those two shows.

This was such a great way to end this trilogy! Leslie Nielsen continued to crack me up. He's perfect in this role. I'm sad to say goodbye to this series since I've had so many good laughs. Good thing there is a new one!

This Week!

Hello! I can't believe we're already in the heart of October. It feels like this year has flown by. I'm already seeing Christmas decorations going up in stores and I don't know if I'm ready for that yet.

This week I'm finishing up on the Naked Gun trilogy by watching the final film! The show Echo will also be finishing up with the last two episodes.

In honor of spooky season, I had to see the Haunted Mansion movie that came out two years ago. I never saw it when it came out so I'm really looking forward to it!!!

For YouTube, I'm still working my way through Ted Lasso and also uploading my KPop Demon Hunters reaction!! I honestly listen to that music all the time. It's so catchy!!

(Full Reaction) Psycho

This was one of the first scary movies I've ever actually liked! It's a classic for a reason! It was psychologically suspenseful and relied heavily on the actors giving knock out performances. Norman Bates is genuinely terrifying.

Unfortunately, my camera suddenly focused on my background instead of me halfway through this reaction. It goes in and out after that but eventually focuses back on me. I'm terribly sorry and am going to try to make sure that never happens again. I have no idea what prompted it to do that, since I've had this camera for a while and never run into this issue.

And the John Wick franchise does it again! This was such a great film. The visuals were stunning, the stunts were impressive, and the story was great. It was fun to jump into this world again and see old friends...and enemies! This was everything I could have wanted from a John Wick spin off movie.

This Week!

Hello everyone! We're about to enter spooky season, so I felt like kicking it off with a classic like Psycho. Despite not usually being able to handle horror movies, I don't think it will be too scary for me since it's an older film.

Also, I'm jumping into the next MCU project which is Echo. This show is super short. Right after it ends I'll be able to jump into Agatha All Along, which is perfect for Halloween!

You all know I'm a big fan of John Wick movies and a new one came out!! It features Ana de Armas as a ballerina who has her own story in the John Wick world!!

For the YouTube early access edits, I'm continuing with Ted Lasso (the show that just keeps getting better) and White Chicks!!

I'm also very happy to say that the movers have finally arrived!! Woohoo! My house is now filled with boxes and I feel like I'm walking through a labyrinth.

Hopefully, this week I'll be able to set up my background. Other than that, the only other update in my life is that I've started drinking coffee. You all know I'm loyal to my Earl Grey, but I've needed the extra caffeine lately and it turns out coffee is delicious with creamer. I finally understand why people like coffee, haha!

For some reason, I thought the title was a reference to footwear. It's a reference to being able to sneak into places without getting caught! Wow, missed that one!

This Week!

It's Robert Redford week! I picked the top two movies from the latest poll to watch. The winners were Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) and All the President's Men (1976). Lamby's Pick was a Robert Redford movie called Sneakers (1992), since so many of you said I'd love it!

I'm really excited to spend this week exploring some of his beloved films. This should be a lot of fun!

As for the YouTube uploads, this week will be Puss In Boots and Ted Lasso S3 E2.

Since some of you mentioned liking apple flavors over pumpkin for fall, I thought I'd mention that Trader Joe's has apple cider donuts and a spiced apple cider drink that they only offer this time of year. They are both really delicious!

I'm completely in love with this movie! It has a wonderful cast, some of the best dialogue a movie could have, and an incredible premise. There are so many quotable lines from this film! The emotional impact of this film has stayed with me all day. I'm blown away by this masterpiece. It was heavier than I was originally expecting, but it was definitely worth it.
