I really enjoy listening to Ado's unique performances because of her voice, but not only that, it's the way she can fit her voice into the multiple styles of music.

In this performance, you get a lot South Asian style music with her doing somewhat, but not fully, a carnatic style of singing. It's really exciting to hear an artist appreciate another one's culture!

I didn't talk too much about theory here since it was pretty straight forward. The main thing I felt like I should've...

Electric Callboy - Pump It!

This was suggested to me after doing a reaction to Ninja Sex Party, which if you haven't checked them out yet, I highly suggest you do if you need a good laugh.

This one was hilarious! Not only is the music extremly entertaining, exciting and fun, it was full of so much more. The use of innuendo was hilarious! ...and I loved the use of the "Jane Fonda" style workout videos, but in a hardcore METAL style.

What I really liked as well was the switch-up in musical genre. They started...

TRiDENT - Voltage

All I knew about this band going into it was that the drummer in this band has recently left. I have questions that I want answered, but besides that, I really enjoyed this performance!

I did find that Junna was stuck in my ears due to her epic skills and powerful drumming, but the other members after listening back again, I really liked the riff that Asaka started and ended the song with. Also that nice bass solo done by Serina was a delight to listen to in the bridge.

Varijashree Venugopal - Chasing the Horizon ft. Hamilton de Holanda and Victor Wooten

Holy SMOKES!

I didn't know what to expect when this was suggested to me, but I was sold when I saw that VICTOR WOOTEN was in this. I couldn't pass it up. not prepared for the mixture of Indian carnatic style music fusion with two guest artists, Hamiltion de Holanda and Victor Wooten.

The unison pitch and rhythm sent this over the edge for me. It's impressive to do such a thing especially with voice. The virtuosity of Holanda on the bandolim is impressive to behold.

The maids have won over my heart with this one! The homage to Sailor Moon made the little girl in me super excited! Honestly, it was the crossover I wanted and I got it! 💗🕊️

I want to know everyone's opinion about this one. After doing research on the song and thinking about it after recording, I could see why, MAYBE, that this one isn't a fan favorite.

So many of their songs showcase their members in a much larger capacity so when you hear this one where it's not Akane's...

Babymetal - BxMxC

This was not what I was expecting, but when I did my first reaction to Babymetal on YouTube, I wasn't expecting that either...so whatever, I guess!

Anyway, I loved this! The theme. The video effects. The style. The hair. THE FLOW. I didn't think this was going to be a rap video. I think I believe that this was the time that one of the members was not a part of the group anymore.

The battle rapping and the choreo was killer to listen to and watch.

This suggestion absolutely killed me! It's extremely beautiful and made me tear up.

I was so moved by this song that after listening to it, I looked up the chords and started learning it on guitar.

The modulations that I hear via key is really what brings this song to life!

The pure talent it takes for Saiki and Miku to be able to know what to listen for to modulate their voices to the next key is crazy. That's never easy! Just ask a vocalist!

This was an absolute joy to react to!

I don't know how I didn't catch that this song was going to be performed backwards when I read the name.

The music going by at the bottom was so tempting. I wanted to get my flute out and try it out, but I would rather have the sheet music sitting out in front of me vs it scrolling past my eyes as fast as it was.

The fact that you can get two songs from one chord progression in forward and reverse action is very exciting to see and hear...

Oingo Boingo - Insanity

Was anyone going to tell me that Danny Elfman was the creator of this band? Like...THE Danny Elfman?!?

This man is a genius. His compositions can be heard in the Batman, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas and many more. More than likely you've heard his works at some point.

I really liked this. The style of music, the theme of the stage and the topic being sung about and the activity on stage was fun to watch!

I definitely need more of Oingo Boi...

BAND-MAID - Real Existance comparison

This was interesting since I feel like I was taken back in time through BAND-MAID's older works.

When I recorded "Don't Let Me Down," I immediately noticed that this was older. The sound was more simplistic than that of what they have now. I then realized that "Real Existance" was from around the same time frame. The difference here is that I got to hear Kanami and Misa actually showcase their abilities. This was exciting and I imagine it was exciting to hear for the first time as a fan...

It's a little late, but better than never!
