Hey everyone! Sorry for keeping silent for so long, we've been cooking another Kickstarter campaign for April!
We'll pause billing this and next months since our focus is gonna shift completely towards KS, but before that, we'd like to thank everyone that has contributed to this patreon this past couple of years, truth is we wanted to do much more content here but we were way too focused on making the game (and the other game for Chibig...!) that we didn't have time to spare for devlogs...

Since the start of the development we've been thinking about the idea of having voice acting in Genokids, as it has the potential to improve the game, but due to unknowns like it being too expensive and complex, the possibility of it worsening the game is one that couldn't be ignored.

Added foot IK! It's a cosmetic change that makes feet try to stay on the ground.
We wanted to add this feature just to make this video, but I think it was worth it. Now we have both a nice feature that helps juicing the game and a ridiculous video lol.

Happy new year! This is the public version of the December 25th build!

As you can imagine not reaching our Kickstarter goal kinda blew our plans out of the water.
Fortunately we did have other plans in store if that were to be the case and we eventually decided on launching a Patreon for a number of reasons.
First, it allows us to slowly fund the game, we are two people so it's not like we would've spent the 30k in one day, if we can get a small amount of money monthly we should be able to commission music, sfx and other assets as we need them....
