Automobilista 2 Cars assets for ApexRivals (12/13/2024)

Drop these files in your "<username>\AppData\Local\ApexRivals\Assets\AMS2\" folder

These will add preview images to all the cars updated to 1.6.

Updated Group A assets for Automobilista 2

This assets pack is to update the new skins for Group A in Automobilista 2, since four skins were removed from the game, and some team numbers were altered

You can either download only the updated Group A files, or the entire Cars assets, simply overwrite the current files and you're good to go!

-The "Family" value now works differently from before
Before, a car class from the "GT3" family could only appear once in a tier, no matter what
Now, a "GT3" family class can appear multiple times, as long as they are part of a different race series
This will result in bigger careers if using the "Fill by family" setting

LITE version available to download elsewhere

Hey guys, the LITE version can now also be downloaded from Overtake.gg as well as Nexus Mods.

If you guys like the app I could use some endorsements to help the app gain some tractions!

I have also renamed the different versions from "DEMO" and "FULL" to "LITE" and "PRO".

The former makes it sound like there's something missing, or that it's an incomplete version, which is not the case. I believe this naming is a better representation of the differences between the two versions

MALE SURE WINDOWS DEFENDER IS UP TO DATE, the application was wrongly seen as a trojan during the beta, but after a talk with Microsoft they cleared it.

These are the limitations in the demo compared to the full version:
-No multiclass races
-Retirement after 2 years max
-Seasons can be at most 3 months

Everything else is identical to the full version

THIS IS A DEMO VERSION

I am currently in the last phase of testing before the proper release.

In the past, I had made available a "free trial" of my Patreon so that users would be able to try the application before committing to a subscription. I have decided that it would be smarter to make a permanent free demo available instead.

The demo is entirely compatible with everything in the full version of the application. Any progress made in it will transfer to the full version...

It should be fixed!

I got another reply from Microsoft and I must admit I'm impressed at how quickly they moved through this. As you can see in the screenshot, the file should now be cleared! If you're still getting a warning it's probably because your Defender hasn't updated yet, just give it some time.

I'm working on it

I got a pretty quick reply from Microsoft, they basically confirm the exe file is clean. I'm still in talks with them to try to reproduce what causes the alert when downloading the file. It might have something to do with the file being zipped, or maybe Patreon alters the zip file on their end and that causes an issue, I'm not sure yet.

I'm actively working on trying to resolve this issue, sorry for the scare!

I have linked an image of a VirusTotal scan, one of the scans returned a positive. I have already opened a ticket with Microsoft and submitted the file for inspection, the last time around it took a few months to get things sorted

Generic Rival Images Pack 1

Drop these files in your "<username>\AppData\Local\ApexRivals\Assets\GenericDrivers" folder

These will add generic driver images for rivals that do not have a custom portrait

There are two generic driver image packs, one in an "artistic" style, and one in a "realistic" style, each pack contains 200 generic driver images

All images were generated by AI and I claim no ownership, you may use them however you like
