Sure enough, the door opened to show Daisy with a doctor walking behind her. The same doctor who had treated Lilly after she fainted during the attack.

Lilly and Eolande stood there admiring the staff. It was mostly red and gold, with a phoenix-like design at the end.

“Wow, it’s perfectly sized for you to use as a walking stick!” Eolande noted, chuckling.

After an engaging day of learning and gathering new allies and an exciting evening inside the formation, Lilly found herself alone with her thoughts as the evening quieted. Mia seemed to be sleeping already, letting Lilly think back on the events of the day.

After a night of deep sleep, exhausted after her training, Lilly was ready for her first lesson. She hadn’t bothered with the uniform today since it was a pain to put on, and had instead chosen a casual dress.

As Lilly breathed a sigh of relief after leaving the stage, Princess Adelia approached her with an excited look. “That was a wonderful speech, Lady Lilly! It clearly signaled your connection to the crowd, and how you were one of them.”

After a short walk filled with stares of awe, Lilly and Eolande had arrived at the plaza. At this point, Lilly had been repeatedly instructed by what she liked to call the ‘prim and proper committee' about how to act during the ceremony.

She wasn’t very fond of that particular branch of the local government. They were constantly reminding her of what she was doing wrong in social situations, and she received more than enough comments about her usual style of clothing.
