Long Night Gallery #2

 Well, i hope you guys see how much fun I had with the drawings this episode! It's so much different than the stuff I normally draw, but I really enjoy it a lot. I tend to really dislike drawing straight lines, but strangely didn't mind at all this time. I've become quite a big fan of both Kineed and The Mossborn. Will we see them again? I suppose time will tell on that, m'bastards.

 Still working through this one, Having a lot of fun with the pictures, especially. Really would like to show off more of them, but i'd like to not spoil too too much.

In the spirit of total transparency, we had a couple impromptu family events pop up that have slowed things down a little, but I don't want to be one of those workaholic guys who cloister themselves away when the family gets together, you know?

Halloween Update

 This week we're going to have a little change of pace. Hoping to do another Halloween special, which is pretty exciting.

I got it started and realized the intense level of fun I was having might make the Thursday deadline a little tough, so I figured i'd let the deadline slip a little. Got the "off week" coming up anyways, so it's not a huge deal if I cut into it.

I'll post some more teasers as the week goes on just to confuse and tantalize you wonderful bastards.

 Fun! Hope you all liked that intro bit. Just had to do it, really.

Really tried to tone down the details on some pictures this week in an attempt to ease the workflow a bit. I don't think it affected the episode at all, really. Turns out that after their colored, most of the small details kinda get covered anyways. Good to know, really. Gonna have to tryyyyy to keep it in mind going forward.

Chamberpoint Ep.8: Fire and Water

 The pious dwarves of Chamberpoint continue forward in their righteous praise, and as they do, fend off ever strengthening assaults from the baron-aligned goblin hordes. Will their prayers be enough to protect them from the marching forces outside the walls? Or, will it serve to distract them..from the growing taint within?

 I dunno, man. I just thought there were a *lot* of fun subjects in this episode. Really felt like taking my time I guess!  Got the forgotten beasts, the "ceremony", that death god, the risen stalkers, the second cyclops- phew. Also got myself into the mindset "I can just shave a siiingle daaaay off of my week off, right? Probably something i'll have to try not to do in the future. Or at least not let it get more out of hand than that {:))

 The cyclops may have been killed, but in it's wake, Chamberpoint suffers. The dwarves of the coastal resistance cannot afford this slip up, and so look to their gods and their trusted mayor for guidance...

  Good pics with this episode I thought. I feel like I never do a satisfying job with giants/cyclops/ettin in my forts, but THIS one..this one is a good one I think. Just kinda really forced myself to do something new with her. I also really liked putting together the little cinematic intro for the big beastie ...

Chamberpoint Gallery #4

 Good mix of both floating and full page pics this episode. I will tell you what: I do love drawing dwarven foodstuffs quite a lot. Maybe it's just because I haven't done it that much, or perhaps it's because you really have to struggle to wrap your mind around what they could be. Whatever it is, I do have a lot of fun with it and hope to do more of it in this fort, for sure. Also, I really enjoy designing new armors. Ted's armor has to be some of my favorite. Not sure how evident it is,...

Chamberpoint Gallery #3

 Kind of surprising that we're already on episode #3, really. I still feel like we *just* started. Glad things are starting to settle down a bit in the fort finally. Also real happy the baron's forces have held off. We would have been screwed if they did attack.

Sidenote: are there any werebeasts in this world you think? Have yet to see a single darn one. Which is not a complaint!
