I hope you bastards are excited because starting in just a couple days Splatterface will begin! Going to be doing things a little bit different than usual with it too. Normally I do a 30 minute video once a week, but this time i'm doing the intro to the tournament which will be a bit (lot?) shorter than usual and then every day (or two) afterwards we'll witness a bout in the tournament until it's completion. Honestly, I hated the above ground look of the fort until I drew the structures. Made me look at it in a different light.
The gross looking elves were inspired by the character "Mok" from the movie Rock and Rule. Saw some stuff about it recently and was delightfully disgusted by the character's look.
Ended up doing 50+ pics for the episode even though most of them were "Background-less" pics. Still a ...

Oh Skullhorror. Never thought such a forsaken fortress could have become a place of legend. Seriously though, this was a blast and the entire time the fort was a pleasure to manage!

Lots of backgroundless pics in this episode. I find they work best in combat scenes just so the action isn't toootally covered. Also, it allows me to do more separate pics overall, which I like. I especially liked doing the spinning coin thing. Haven't done that since Monsterkiller I don't think! One one side is an image of ballista bolts (the symbol of out civilization) and on the other we have square cut gems.
