JulyViolet - Ryul and Scanlan

To celebrate the release of the new episodes of season 2 of Critical Role's "The Legend of Vox Machina", I present this to you.  New art piece drawn by JulyViolet that shows one of my DnD characters with one of theirs.  Those of you who follow my work will recognize my character, Ryul the high elf monk, and those of you who know of Vox Machina will recognize the bard, Scanlan Shorthalt.  

With the way I created and wanted to portray my monk, I always knew that the two of them would get along quite well.  After all, Ryul loves to bed men and women of various races from humans to gnomes, to goblins, even dragonborn and tieflings.  This elf makes bards look damned chaste.

And the series is ongoing, everyone.  I am going to keep going as far as this series of line arts from DrGraevling.  With the princess escaping, she is having her handmaiden keep the guards busy as well.  

In terms of logistics, it was one of the trickier ones because of the fact that there are so many people in the image.  But I stuck to it and kept going.

JulyViolet - Black Widow Supports the Ukraine

I know that I'm late to the party about this but I've had this idea for a long time that I think would be a great and rather powerful image.  The idea was inspired by this protest I saw on the news of women in France that were going topless and painting themselves in the Ukrainian flag.  So, with that in mind, I wondered "what would Natasha Romanov, the Black Widow, do or think in this situation?"

The answer was obvious.  

And so, I called upon JulyViolet to do the line art and they managed this.  

The coloring was the harder part since so much is going on at home and I've been trying to do all I can to balance work life, home life, and the hobby life.

Why I haven't been posting very regularly.

To my patrons, I realize that I don't post very regularly, and there's a reason for that.  

For one, I work a very stressful 9 to 5 job in retail.  And it does take a lot out of me and I do want to put out more content but it's hard to do when I need the money to keep the machinery running.  So, I apologize for all that.  

The other part of it is in my personal life.  And I don't like to bring that up in such a public way but my fiance has been struggling a lot lately.  I'm trying my best to be there for her, even though she keeps pushing me away.  

Again, my apologies to you all for this.

Coloring Commission - Korra and Asami Cheerleaders

With a lot of things coming up, I decided to see if anyone wanted to commission me again, and thankfully, Fandaar, had a line art from CallMePo that I couldn't resist.  This one was a lovely one, because, let's face it, guys, who doesn't like cheerleaders?

The idea that Fandaar had with this one was that Korra would be dressed in blue and white while Asami would be in red and white, but, she would be wearing blue panties that she'd be showing off to Korra to really torture her.

Coloring Commission - Juiced24 - the-killer-wc - Korra Prank

Recently I was approached by Juiced24 to color this piece drawn by The-Killer-WC.

I  knew that the task was going to be pretty tricky but I couldn't back  down from a commission like this.  So I went about coloring it.  Though  the only really tricky part of the whole thing was the trangular section  in the middle which I was told was a massive pole to which a line of  panties is strung to.

It has been a little too long these days since I've uploaded or  shown any kind of art, everyone.  But the thought of coloring line art  has not been far from my mind.  But given how much of regular life needs  my attention, there was a shift in priorities.  But allow me to show  this to you; a Slave Leia Elsa.

I still remember encountering  the cosplayer Maid of Might who did this and I liked it a lot but I  still felt that I could see Elsa as a Jedi.  Yet, I coudln't help but go  back to this idea and how sexy it is.

RabbitSlides - Submissive Aunt Cass

While going through TikTok I came across this artist named RabbitSlides and I liked their style and wanted to see if they wanted to do some line art work for me.  And given the amount for the commission they did two for me.  One of them was Aunt Cass and the other was Elsa (as a Slave Leia).  

This one should have relatively been simple but because of a lot of things going on at home, I got side tracked and it pulled me away from the work that I want to do.  

It's also one of the many reasons why I basically did a copy and paste when it comes to the background.  Many of you, who follow my work, will recognize the background as one I've used many times before from Cass' cafe with the lime green background and such.  I figured that it's always the best way to display this character.

BadSpider - Submissive Elsa and her leash

I know it's been a very long time since I've uploaded anything new lately but I promised myself and all of you that I would get back to it and get something made for all of you.  

For this one, we have something that was suggested to me by my friend, DieselJester, who, like me, is a huge Elsa fan, and wanted to see a piece of her in a leash.  The pose on the other hand was inspired by another artist who did one of a My Hero Academia character doing the same thing.  So, if any of you know the piece I'm talking about and who the artist is, I'd greatly appreciate the information.

JulyViolet - Animated Harem Maggie Mui is Pregnant

Sorry everyone that it's been so long since I posted anything  lately.  There's been a lot going on at this end and I haven't had as  much time to devote to coloring.  This is why this whole being an adult  thing is not as cracked up as its made out to be.

But  once I got back into it, I was between finishing up Maggie herself and  coloring the background.  Knowing this, I knew that I had a lot to deal  with.  For one I wanted to do some experimenting as far as the buildings  are concerned.  In my other works, I've often just made the buildings  grey and blurred them out.  However, in this one I decided to try out  doing something more reflective where it reflects the blue sky.  Then  add in a little white overlay and white blurs to make it look like a  mirror.

DrGraevling - Coloring Book Page 05 colored

It's been a while, everyone, but here's the fifth page in the  DrGraevling's Coloring book series.  So far, this is probably the most  detailed piece of work that I've done so far.  Not just because there's  more than two people in the room but also because of the fact that I was  trying to set it up so that the light looks convincing.  Such as the  princess in the background, I wanted her to look like she was standing  in the shadows of the hallway.

But in the end, I think it worked out far better than what I had expected.

Milo Hornyck - Wanda's mind went brrrrr colored

A while ago on Twitter, I came across this line art by an artist named "Milo Hornyck" and I wanted to take a shot and coloring it.  

It took some time in order to get the colors right especially since there were several different colors in one area, such as the different reds in her chest piece.  Then there's the black, red, and silver on the stockings.  

I admit that I used the original version to get an idea of where to put the shadows but everywhere else I went on my own instincts about it.  After that, I wanted to do my own version of the background that they did.  So I found a freestock pic of static, added some red to it, then added some outer glow effects and viola.

HanamiArt - Pew colored

A while ago, I came across an artist on Twitter named HanamiArt and I wanted to commission them but I wanted to see what it's like to color their line art.  So I contacted the artist and I asked them if they had any line art that I could color and they sent me this one.  It's pretty easy, for the most part, the part that I felt was the harder of it all was the clothing and armored parts.  

In the original that they did of this, it involved a forest scene.  And given my level of skill when it comes to backgrounds I decided to do something a little different.  And that's how I came to the idea of doing something like this.  Although, the heart eyes and hearts in the background were my own ideas.

Animated Harem Ideas

I know I've been having a lot of art done of my Animated Harem, and there is one particular project I want to do.  The idea is where there are group pictures of the ladies doing a special activity that one of them picks.  And this is how I imagined them:

· Elsa’s suggestion: Kareoke night

o Everyone is in the family room where there is a TV and karaoke machine and Elsa is singing but she’s not singing “Let it go”

o Zone-tan is drinking (and getting very drunk) while her pet tentacle monster is bringing her a glass of water to sober her a little.

o Aunt Cass is bringing out a tray of hot wings and drinks

o Maggie is looking through a booklet of songs.

o Samus is remaining composed and smiling with a drink in her hand.

o Tracer has her drink and is cheering Elsa on.

o Lilith is up and dancing

· Aunt Cass’ suggestion: Baking Night

o Cass has a tray of cupcakes fresh out of the oven meanwhile everyone is trying to decorate but having mixed results

o Elsa is using her ice magic and making the frostings look like mini ice castles.

o Maggie is reading a book “Baking for Beginners” while her frosting has mixed sizes. Some having too much or too little frosting.

o Zone-tan has hers finished and her tentacle pet monster is feeding them to her.

o Samus has very little control and she squeezes all her frosting out on one cupcake and as a result she looks very mortified.

o Tracer is trying to mix her frosting but she covers herself in a small cloud of powdered sugar.

· Maggie’s suggestion: Reading Night

o Everyone is sitting and reading

o Maggie is happy as can be reading Hemmingway

o Elsa is reading Hans Christian Anderson

o Aunt Cass is reading “Frankenstein”

o Zone-tan is reading a hentai manga like “La Blue Girl” or “Legend of the Overfiend”

BadSpider - Elsa's JackOPose Challenge

I know that I'm very late to this party but it is still something  that I've always wanted to do and try out.  However, the trick was  finding an artist to do it, but I managed to find an artist by the name  "BadSpider" who is very good at mimicking the Disney style.  Upon  finding this person, I asked them to do this but have them do it as a  line art.  They were interested in seeing how I would do as far as my  coloring skills are concerned.  They were rather impressed by what I was  able to do.

Hello again, everyone, here is the newest in the Goblin Harem series for the story "My Ship, My Goblin Harem", by DieselJester

Here we have Brigit, the tactical and security officer drawn by Karla Diaz.

Given  the personality of this particular goblin lady the idea was pretty  clear.  DieselJester and I came up with the idea of posing her on the  ship's gangplank with two guns, one in the holster and the other in her  hand.  All the while she was giving the finger.

JulyViolet - Animated Harem Maggie's Test

As I have promised, I am working towards finishing this series of images from the Animated Harem.

Next  here, we have Maggie Mui from R.O.D. the TV/Read or Dream, and just  like how I had this one piece done by BlushMallet where Maggie is  showing off the positive pregnancy test while holding a copy of the book  "What to Expect When You're Expecting", becuase anyone who has watched  Read or Die or any of the other stories around it will know that this is  exactly what any of the Paper ladies would do; find a book about the  subject.

The real trick of this one was  to do the background becuase I knew that for Maggie, you can't really do  anything else as far as what to put in the background.  The reason why I  say that is becuase of one part in "R.O.D. the TV' where Maggie is  denied books for a whole day and she starts to feel very ill.  Almost  like she had been deprived of air, water, or food.  And this is what I  love about these characters in this particular anime, it makes heroes  out of people whom are, more often than not, put into more support  roles, like being the guy in the van or the guy sitting behind a screen  while the "important one" is the one doing all the cool stuff.  In this  series, it's the bookworm that is doing the cool stuff and doing the  nerdy/geeky stuff after everything is done.  Which is why I'm surprised  there wasn't a moment when someone says, "could we finish this fight  fast?  I have a book I want to read as soon as I get home."

I'm  very thankful for the way that JulyViolet did this picture in doing  Maggie's paper suit and it's my hope that I had done the colors and  background just right for it.

JulyViolet - Gift Art - Takara

Recently, a friend of mine told me about a character that they had  done and wished that they could bring to life and I volunteered to do  that.

So, they gave me a description and a  whole bunch of images of what each part of them would be like.  And  with that, I gave the instructions over to JulyViolet and had them work  it out.  When it was done, I think they were quite surprised when it was  done with the sheer level of beauty that was made.  The next trick to  it was putting it all together in photoshop as far as it's colors and  background.  The hardest parts of it were the wings but also the clothes  because they're basically supposed to be somewhat transparent, per my  friend's instructions, and when it was done there were a couple add-ons  that were requested.  Such as putting in snow tiger stripes into her  hair as well as putting in another piece of jewelry around her neck.

Recently, an artist I follow and frequently commission, JulyViolet,  had posted a new piece that showed a nude demoness.  And given how I do  love to color their line art I asked if I could take a shot at it and  they said that I could, but given the colors they did I wanted to do  something different.  So like the Twi'lek artworks I've done as well as  other art pieces, I had done various combinations of skin tones, hair  color, eye color, as well as the colors of the horns and tail.

Karla Diaz - My Ship, My Goblin Harem - Poppy the Comm's Officer

Hello again, everyone, here is the newest in the Goblin Harem series for the story "My Ship, My Goblin Harem", by DieselJester.  

Here we have Poppy, the sensors and communications officer.  

The idea behind this piece was already clear in the mind of my friend, that she should be posed in her chair near the console that she works at.  And she would be looking at the viewer with a very seductive look at crooking her finger as if she wants you (or rather the captain of the ship) to come and have her.  

Coloring Poppy was the easy part given how I had DieselJester letting me know what color each part of her would be, but the only tricky part was the background.  I knew already that it needed to look like the interior of a spaceship bridge, so I had to use a lot of the color pallets from various images in order to get it right.  Yet, as my friend, Hooksnfangs, likes to tell me: "Don't overthink your background".  So, once I was done with the layout, I just left it at that.

However, as events turned out, this person  basically took art from across google and cobbled it together calling it  their own art. Needless to say, DieselJester was very upset about this  and called attention to this but from what was told to me this "artist"  refused to back down from what was done. Seeing them in this situation, I  decided to step in and see what I can do to help out. And in my  browsing through Twitter, I came across an artist named Karla Diaz and I  asked them to do this series, they said yes, and thus began the  process.

In coloring this one, I found it to be the most fun  because of the fact that it is very pin-up like where the model is doing  something that one doesn't need to do naked.  And the fact that the oil  is splattering everywhere kind of shows that, doesn't it?

To  begin, a little backstory about this image, my friend DieselJester had  written a story for an upcoming anthology series called "My Ship, My  Goblin Harem". In the story, the main character gains four goblin  ladies, among them is this one, Regina, who becomes the ship's cook. I  already liked the story and DieselJester wanted to have art done of the  story and he had an "artist" by the name of Elina Shephered create a  piece for them.

DrGraevling - Coloring Book Page 04 colored

To continue in the series of pages from the coloring book by  DrGraevling, I have her page 04 where the princess is beseeching her  mother for her request and her very busty mother hears her out and is  going to help out.

Just like with the previous page,  there's a colored version and a nude version.  The nude version is only  available on my Patreon.  So if you want to see that, you're going to  have to visit my Patreon page. 

In coloring the clothed version,  the biggest challenge was being able to color the queens dress as well  as picking out the right skin ton and her hair color.  Since I picked  red hair for the princess and brown hair for the father, I knew I needed  to pick something similar or comparable to what the princess has.  And  so I landed on a lighter shade of orange-red. 

And like before  the background was the harder part given how detailed the roof was.  I  essentially went in and colored each tile by hand.  Painstaking and  time-consuming, yes, but worth it.

Coloring Comm for BeastKing - Amanda Snow Tiger

In the newest  coloring commission made to me by BeastKing, he asked me to color this  piece that was drawn by R3dStar69 of his original character, Amanda Snow  Tiger.

This one was a challenge given the exaggerated  features and foreshortening of the various parts of the body and it did  take me a little longer than what I had wanted, mainly because the  regular job drains so damn much out of me. But BeastKing was patient  enough with me to finish as best as I could. However, when it came to  the background, I decided to do something that seemed fitting of their  character. A brick-like background with her name spray painted into  it. BeastKing liked it a lot saying that it was a little like the old  school 80s/90s anime. It's rather funny since that idea didn't really  enter my head until after it was said and now I like the comparison a  lot.

Recently, I had decided to try to seek out coloring commissions,  and thankfully, Rudeboy308 had a line art of Garnet and Machina from the  anime "Dragonaut".

I knew that I was  biting off a lot in this picture but I'd like to think I've never  disappointed in any coloring piece that I've done so I decided to go  full force with it.  But I still knew that there was going to be a lot  of detail to work with as far as the clothes are concerned.  Thankfully,  Rudeboy308 had given me some references to work with as far as the  color pallet was concerned.  And with some tips and tricks that I know  how to use in Photoshop, it all came together. 

Finally, at the  end as far as a background was concerned, and since the anime takes  place in space, I went with a space theme with stars and nebula.  But of  course I wanted the colors to match the person in the foreground, and  viola.

DrGraevling - Coloring Book Page 03

To continue in the series of pages from the coloring book by  DrGraevling, I have her page 03 where the princess is asking the King  permission to leave the castle and explore the world but it falls on  deaf ears.

Initially, when I started on this page, I was  under the impression that there was only the clothed version but when I  looked closer with the image, I found out that DrGraevling, had created  two versions of this.  There's a clothed version that you see here and a  nude version.  So, I colored the nude version and colored the clothed  version last since all I would need to do is copy the layers from the  nude version and color the clothes on top of that. 

However,  doing the colors for the clothes was the tough part as far as what I  would do for them.  In the end I decided to go with the green that I  used for the princess in page one but since her father is the king I  decided to use a royal purple for that. 

I also want to say this about DrGraevling, they don't spare any detail in their work which I admire.

Karla Diaz - My Ship, My Goblin Harem - Regina

Here's a little something different everyone.

To begin, a  little backstory about this image, my friend DieselJester had written a  story for an upcoming anthology series called "My Ship, My Goblin  Harem".  In the story, the main character gains four goblin ladies,  among them is this one, Regina, who becomes the ship's cook.  I already  liked the story and DieselJester wanted to have art done of the story  and he had an "artist" by the name of Elina Shephered create a piece for  them.  However, as events turned out, this person basically took art  from across google and cobbled it together calling it their own art.   Needless to say, DieselJester was very upset about this and called  attention to this but from what was told to me this "artist" refused to  back down from what was done. 

Seeing them in this situation, I  decided to step in and see what I can do to help out.  And in my  browsing through Twitter, I came across an artist named Karla Diaz and I  asked them to do this series, they said yes, and thus began the  process.

BadSpider - Princess Jasmine colored

I'm a supporter of BadSpider over at Patreon and recently they released  this piece that was the line art of a nude Princess Jasmine.

I  immediately asked if i could color it and they said "go for it".  So I  went ahead with it.  Though it was rather a change from the original.   The reason why I say that is because in the original Disney production,  they used a lot of soft shading for the characters.  In what I'm doing,  I'm using a more anime style cel shading technique with the hard and  crisp lines.

Miles Yagami - Artemis Mirror

A revisit to a piece by my friend, Miles Yagami.  He presented to me a line art of it and I volunteered to color it.

Took  me a pretty long time to color but as with any big project, the ending  of it was worth all the time and energy that was put into it.
