Something you might not as yet know 'bout us humans what works the foundry is that we don't have any place to roost. Not while we're working, at least. That is to say, no office. Technology is (obviously) a pretty glorious thing. So glorious, we've become virtually useless without. The problem with technology is that its got this weird temper nobody bothers to tell you about on the packaging. It just has an idea one morning to sabotage you, and that's the end of it. You get to watch the hours vanish before your very eyes as you try to coax the car or tv or toaster (if you're really unlucky) back into working order.

Due to some hectic scheduling, I am just now about to begin the editing process for the audio. We are trying to get as much as we can done before Thanksgiving so I have given myself a very, VERY lofty goal.

We've been steadily trying to increase the quality of research/production for our series, which has kinda had a stretching effect on them. We spend way more time planning and producing these things than we used to, and honestly it's kind of... sort of... utterly and entirely obliterated our "monthly" format. Like, we'd originally planned to do Lovecraft "month" in October, but I'm looking out the window right now and there's snow. Giant, l...
So not great news.
Although Talebot recorded the script without any technical flaws, the recording was off. He was very distracted, which though not unusual during his daily life is not an ideal mindset to be in when recording audio. Unfortunately he will have to rerecord it.
On the bright-side, this is only a minor setback. Benji & I will be working on the visual side of things and the research for the following list while we wait.

Our Lovecraft series is about to enter full production! I've finished recording the audio and sent it to Chloe and Benji for editing—this time, with a blessed lack of technical errors. I doubt I'll ever quite adjust to the digital age, but I feel this a step in the right direction.

And this time it's not even TB's fault. My computer's been outta commission for the last five days, because (like a dunce) I originally bought a computer with great specs but terrible storage. I was having to transfer all the TF assets off the computer every time I started a new project, but there was no way to avoid files slowly building up.
Long story short, it quickly got to the point where I couldn't even render a video anymore. So I had to take the ol' lappy in to get a whole new ha...
So we have news! Unfortunately, it isn't that the story video is coming out tomorrow. But it shouldn't be too much longer now that we've pushed through all the technical difficulties (*cough*Talebot*cough*). It's just down to finding music, creating the visual loop, editing TB's new audio, finding sounds, and sticking it all into Premiere.
Which is still a quite a bit...
But we're working on it, I promise!
In other news, whether we'll get the first Lovecraft video out by Hal...
We love TB and he's a great host, but (ironically) he's also not the best with tech. Chloe received his recording of the short story's audio, but apparently he used the wrong microphone (built-in mic instead of the fancy one we usually use), so the audio was totally unusable.
So it looks like the story is going to be coming out a little later than we'd like. Thanks for being so patient with us, though. We love you guys, and we'll keep you updated. <3
