Since we've announced the Discord, two new humans have joined us on our quest to make sure the robots don't fall into disrepair and the humans don't die of starvation!
Everyone give a warm welcome to Juhla and JustRenderin!
You guys make this whole thing possible.

Welp, this is pretty incredible! We began the year with something like 5k subscribers and in less than six months jumped up to 10x that number.
Thanks for all the love and support. We've got a little something on the way to celebrate. We'll try to finish it by tonight, but we're working on it alongside this month's story, so it could take a smidge...
Anyway, you guys are the best! Here's to making it half-way to our first play button!

You take great care of our robots—we'll be sure to give you great content in return.

So, we recently asked our $3+ patrons to tell us whether "parasitic shadows" or "re-entering the womb" more excited their sense of morbid curiosity. They told us that it was absolutely parasitic shadows, so now we're boiling down that concept, playing with it, trying to figure out all the directions we might be able to take it.
We may end up with something a little different from shadows that are specifically parasitic, but we'll definitely do strange and uncomfortable with them....

Everyone, welcome our new patrons Griphen116, DaTudd, RPGgrenade-RocketMooseX! With their addition to your ranks, we're officially going to surpass the threshold we need to stage a small mechanical coup against your kind!
Luckily we aren't those kind of robots. Thanks for the support! You guys are the best.

Now that our first Junji Ito video is out (much later than expected, yikes), we're officially set to begin work on this month's list:
The 4 Ways Junji Ito Horrifies Us
...that title is tentative.
As always, this video will be much shorter and much simpler in terms of production than its preceding video, and it'll showcase parts of the author's work we were unable to discuss in this month's episode. We already have an outline finished, and we're ...

Behind every story is a good character... most of the time. But what about a story whose appeal lies in its spectacle? What if we're drawn to the story to learn about the hideous monster and not to make emotional connections?
This is the kind of story Junji Ito excels at, and we think there's something to learn from him.

Discounts will be forthcoming for our patrons as an additional reward.
Also, an aside — our first Junji Ito video is coming along nicely. Sorry for the obscene wait. It's a long and... interesting video. We'll have more sneak peeks for you s...

Making slow, steady progress on the newest video. In the mean time, we'll just let you wonder about the circumstances surrounding this sad, sad sight. Look at that poor little machine.
Also, an aside: this is the first Taleoid you'll get to know at all. It'll be interesting to see how you feel about it.

After a week of research (read: going through volumes of severely screwy horror manga), discussion, outlining, and script-writing, we're finally moving on to production for our Junji Ito series!
It's dangerous to make promises about our pipeline, but we're aiming to be done with the first of the three videos by the end of the week. Fingers crossed for that, hey?
As an aside, we're also talking about the possibility of creating our first TF merch. How would you feel about T-shir...

Alright! So we're trying to figure out our video line-up for the next few months—which topics you guys will get to vote on—and we decided that it would be important to gauge what kind of content you've enjoyed the most.
Thus, we've picked out a few series that we took significantly different approaches on, and we'd like to know: which of them do you like best?
Thanks!

Before our Irish mythology short story releases tomorrow morning (at long last, sheeh), we thought it'd be a good idea to share the original. The new story is going to be Tale Foundry's first sequel, so make sure to give Devil of The Cradle one a listen if you're looking forward to the new story.
Also, thanks for being so patient. We'll be back on top of things in May for Junji Ito month. 'Till then, peace. You're all amazing.
See you tomorrow.
