Among other stuff, I worked on the lighting yesterday and rendered a low quality version overnight to see if anything weird is going on. Forgot to adjust the time range, so it only rendered the first half ... oh well.
Sorry for the obnoxious watermark btw. In the final version it will be in the corner, as always.

I completely remodeled and retextured the Holobloks table from the game cause the original one didn't really hold up very well. Added some animation and a few new details as well.
My initial plan to show the rest of the arcade in the background doesn't really work out from this angle and I'm not going to try and make it work. It looks okay as it is and it's much less work this way.

Just like with the Bloodelf picture, I'd like to use you guys' characters for the next pic.
You can use either Wowmodelviewer (close WoW before running it) or the character creation screen. An ingame screenshot won't do cause it's too hard to guess the face and skin color in those ... I need these numbers in the pic above to rebuild your character.

Alright, close to finished.
Took some of the suggestions from the previous WiP-post and changed the last bit of her expression and rotated her lower body a bit forward.
Also polished the facial animation, made some changes to how her torso moves, added some breathing animation and a little bit of jiggle on her legs. The latter was just a test really, I'm gonna redo that.

Hey!
A quick update before heading off to bed.
Refined some animations, added a few missing bits and finally got started with the face. I like starting with the eye direction and blinks, then do the jaw, then the actual expressions.

I finally came up with a simple rigging solution to bulk animate the fingers. With it I've been able to animate the fingers in about an hour and I think the result looks fairly natural. I also wrote a script to retrofit my previous rigs with this.

Not much new to show, but finally back on track with this. Been spending the last week or so cooking up a tool to quickly rig lots of joints. The main goal was to get a decent solution for a hair rig. I'm really happy with it now and it turns out to be flexible enough to be used for other things as well ... been rigging up Symmetra's cloth bits with it on Friday's stream for example.

The interactive preview render cleared up much more quickly, which sped up the entire process of making a tweak, waiting for the noise to clean up, check the results and repeat. Mostly texture work for the lewd version and some cleanup work like getting rid of the worst compression artifacts on the textures. It's still black here but I'm gonna add a screenshot of a map to the background ... just haven't found a good one yet.
I'm gonna try going with Numbani (the modern skyline fits her, I think), but my first attempts looked kinda silly, mostly because it wasn't clear what she's lying on. To help with that and to ground her into the background, I made this platform thing, which should work better than the glass thing I had before.

Yesterday on stream, I tried this pose. It's alright ... certainly more dynamic than the one I'm gonna go with. But her dancing around like that doesn't seem quite right, even if it is canon. I might use this pose for a turntable render though.

Got started with this yesterday but got interrupted by an unexpected visit and pretty much lost the entire day \o/
If I'm honest, I'm not too happy with this pose but it's the best I could come up with. The issue I have with it is that it doesn't really fit her character. She's gonna do that hand mudra thing with her right hand, but other than that it's pretty generic.
I tried more dynamic poses first, but she was standing in those and that doesn't work very well with the widesc...

Here's the progress after today's random stream. Most major motions are in place now and some parts even got a little bit of polish. Face hasn't been animated at all yet.
Next I'm going to have to see what to do about the hair. I don't think I can rely on only dynamics to solve it and my current rig for the hair doesn't offer enough control, so I'll probably replace it with something better...
