Do you all prefer how I've been doing stream notifications/announcements lately via a normal Patreon post, which is then later deleted when the stream is over? Or do you prefer the old way of sending a mass message to everyone?

Managed to finish! Went overtime to make sure I could get it done tonight. I'm pretty happy with this! I've been studying a lot from pros and their processes lately and I think it's paying off. :) Hope you all like the finished Wargreymon, thanks so much for your support!

Today I started fine detail and only got about... halfway through finishing his body. XD If you open the last WIP and this current one and flip back and forth, it should be a pretty near progress comparison! Detailing does take a while.
I'll do the rest tomorrow! And hopefully be able to wrap it up... I hope. 😬
If not, guess I'll have to try to find time later in the month to finish. So thanks in advance for your patience! Enjoy the progress so far. :)
Progress, and lots of it! This time, I decided to forgo the B&W underpaint I've been doing for a while, and just jump straight into a color underpaint. Got the underpaint completely done today, and started doing my paint-over today. Started with the head area so that part is mostly done in WIP5. Gonna work my way down.
For those who don't know, my schedule is weird this month in that I'm doing this painting over most of this week. So next two posts will be updates to this. :P

Progress! Slow... but its going. I'm liking the way the drawings are coming out. Sorry again for the speed at which this page is going... it's very complicated to draw positions like this, and this page is like... a lot of content packed into one page ^^; Thank you for your understanding and patience since this page is gonna take a while.
But getting there! Should be able to finish the full sketch next sesh, then it'll be lineart and color after that.

Wargreymon won last month's poll, so he's the painted pinup this month! And HOO BOY this is gonna be complex. I was talking with Tre about what I should do for him a few days before I started, and he mentioned that I should do something where he only wears his helmet, shoulder armor and leg armor. So I got to thinking what sort of situation would he wear only those in. And I concluded that that would be in battle...
So here's battle-damaged Wargreymon, having a wardrobe malfunction. But...

EDIT: I had forgotten to do phone wallpapers for this, so they've now been added to the upload here, and everything is in a zip file attached to this post.
I'm FINALLY done with this! I did a lot of minor tweaking during my Free Day today, and now I'm calling this done. If you compare the last WIP to this one, the difference is slight, but I think it really needed it. Painting takes so damn long that it took me like 3 hours to do just that today. XD

There's so many small details that this is all I could get done today. XD The top row of sketches took me like 5 hours to get refined. This page is gonna take a while.
BUT I was so proud of the how the top row's sequence came out and it's anatomy and perspective, I just had to share a crop of it for closer viewing. :3c I thiiiink I am starting to finally understand a bit more about anatomy-in-perspective.

This page took me a bit to get organized. There's a LOT going on. The upper part is kind of a flashback-y sorta thing. The bottom half is the "present" where Santino's going through his emotions while recounting the experience, followed by Gian's reaction. Hope the early dialogue makes sense! It should make more sense once I get the panels and stuff in there, haha.

Today was the color stage of turning the B & W underpainting into a workable color version. There's a lot of versions because I got a ton of work done today AND there's just a lot of adjustments it underwent to get it to the point it is now. Next Art n Chill stream is this Thursday so I'll be finishing this up then! For now, enjoy stripeless Lin Hu :P
Snowe (an OC of Shy's) has never gotten a ref sheet, and I'm fixing that! I kinda went with a mix of my version, BobbyLontra's version and the original Leomon for his proportions. Really happy with the anatomy here! Will do some minor fixing before he gets finished next time.

Refining and finishing the underpainting was the main goal today, and I just barely made it! Haha. This painting is gonna be a doozy. X3
Next time he'll get color and then I'll start painting on top of him some more. Also, just want to reiterate that his stripes and markings will come last, since it's much easier to do that stuff on top of everything that's already been painted. So I guess he just looks more like some kind of tiger-cougar hybrid or something for now :P
