Tsarin and I have a few shared characters and this is one of the situations we came up with...
John-Marc is a sleepy guy, especially after his night shifts. John-Marc and Jeremy still live at home to save money while going to college. Judging by his older brothers' makeshift mattress made out of old couch cushions, they gotta make do... But Jer and his BFF/FWB Luis don't seem to mind his... "snoring" during the day though.
Lin Hu won the poll during October, so I got started on him today! Please note that most of his markings will appear as one of the final stages~
Sadly I hit a wall in terms of my energy so I couldn't quite get the full grayscale painting done today, but that'll be acheived next time. Hope you guys like the sketch and beginnings of the underpainting so far! :)

Progress WIP of new chapter art for Petals of Marigolds written by HerrWozzeck.
My puppy was well behaved for most of the day today so I was able to get pretty far on this, but not quite to the finish line. XD It'll be done next time though, and with it will come the new chapter!
My Free Day is early this month (because holidays always screw with my schedule around this time of year) so here's a little update to my werebun~
ALMOST done. Just finishing touches and correction at this point! I want to detail the bg elements a bit more and touch up his body mainly, maybe make it a little sharper. THanks for sticking with me on my experiments like this, hope you've enjoyed so far!

I finally had a little time to work on this some more today, but less time than I would have liked (the dogs were giving me a really rough time today -_- ) but I at least finished the body's rendering in b&w finally! So next time I can start some minor background details and add some color. We'll see where it goes. :)

This month I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for my Free Day, so I thought, hey, it's October, why not do somethin spooky? Well I still want to practice my painting and git gud, so I took a sketch from last year's SSSStream of a werewolf version of my bunny 'sona, and decided to give him the full treatment.
I was hoping to get a bit farther on this than what I got today, but alas. Dogs and a situation with a contractor took a lot of my time I had today. XD Oh well. I'll work more on it ...

Refined the whole painting in grayscale before I went to the color stage. And then started refining even more! I still have to refine the wings, tail and water in the color stage. Then it'll be adding some water reflection effects, water droplets and trails on his body, and his legs in the water (gonna attempt realistic light bending due to water... hope it'll look believable. XD )

Gabiru won the poll, and so here's the first pass at his painting! I'm trying the same method I did for Zenberu last month, but this time I'm gonna have water effects. X3 So lots more reflected light happening here, as well as rendering the water and wetness on his body. This one might take a while... ^^;

Zenberu is now complete (with an alternate loincloth version)! I learned a lot while working on this and trying the B&W method to digital painting again. But I did things a LOT differently than the last time and the results are much better. I think this is my best painterly piece of art to date! Please enjoy and thanks for the support!!
