Tre and I got to talking about what to do for Hanbei's pinup, and this is what we came up with. Looked up some ref for dives/swimming, and loved this one. So majestic! Hanbei's gonna be skinny dipping here in this place~

RNG chose these 6 for the month! We got some interesting choices this month, I must say. But all an around delicious variety of flavors~ ;9
I ended up redrawing the first panel a little bit, and minorly adjusted the one below it (very minorly), and then put in the detail in panel 2! Got a Greninja and a Zafara in the background as Santino notices his brother enter the establishment~ Inking has begun and from here on out should be smooth sailing til the page is done. The hardest part is always the layout and sketching. ><

He's all done! Hope the Disney movie VHS box art look came across. X3 Minor tweaked the style of course, but overall that's what I was going for. Enjoy! Check the attachment for a cum version.

Got more progress done on the sketch today. Just one more panel to fully sketch out really and I can get to inking on it. Will be able to start the inking next week for sure I think. :)
Also, now Herr-Wozzeck gets his cameo in Roommates! It's customary to give everyone on the Roommates crew a cameo, and so I made him the barista in this scene in the middle and middle right panels. :P

Jon and Tsarin went and had some fun at the waterpark yesterday! I don't think they noticed the rushing water speedily whisking their shorts off yet ('dat photo finish). Will be colored sometime soon! Just liked the WIP a lot and wanted to share it. :)

Color progress! This is more or less the first pass. I'm gonna be going for an overall Disney-feel with the coloring, with some tweeking for the lighting's color and some added contrast. Also going with a vignette for the background because why not. I think it looks nice with this comp. :) There's gonna be some jungle motifs in silhouette in the vignette, as I'm picturing it right now.
Simba should be done next week sometime, I think.
This page is another no-dialogue page... Next page is where they start talking again. I'm trying to do something mildly artsy-fartsy here, so some slight experimentation. I will polish the sketch up next week's session to round it all out. Planning/thumb'ing a page like this usually takes a while ><;

Aaaand yung 'mando is done~~~ I think this is the first time I've done a fully painted cover art for anything Roommates related. Huzzah! Chapter 1 debut is at hand.
