comment on this post to tell me if any of my mods are broken and i will try to fix it on my own time

retired, for now

while its possible i could come back in the future, at the moment i have decided to completely uninstall sims on my computer because it's just way too big of a distraction to me. i paused billing for feburary and i'm uploading my mod constructor files here for others to update if they wish, make sure to link to the update in the comments of my original mod post here on patreon and do not put it behind a paywall. do not upload to mod the sims either, i've made it clear how i feel about that site and why i don't want my stuff on there

in regards to the new pack and my modding in general

i likely wont be buying the new pack or any packs released this year until they go half off because every last cent i'm saving is going towards the cosmetic surgery i'm planning to get this year. i'm also on a hiatus from modding, i'll update my current mods for patches and other issues but don't expect anything new. if you choose to unsubscribe from me it's ok i get it. just wanted to be transparent 

*unfinished* adult to child hair conversions

this is not finished by any means, but i'm taking a hiatus from sim related stuff... one of the toddler hairs that was really hard to do, accidentally got saved over and i lost it completely. and now i don't really feel like finishing this so i'm just uploading what i already have. some of them require island living and discover university, when i get around to finished this i might make them base game compatible but until then that's just how it is, they're all labeled with the EP in the title so delete the packs you don't own 

you can find more conversions by other creators here and here, do remember these ones are quite old so you'll need to batch fix in s4s for seasons and occults. also they omitted the colorful hair swatches

when this is finished i definitely want to have more afro hairs in this because they're sorely lacking in afro hairs especially for boy toddlers and children, but the fades are much harder to do than the long girly hairs so that's why i only really have two so far, and none for toddlers bc the hair i saved over and lost all progress on was the island living fade

CURLY HAIR CONVERSIONS FOR CHILDREN AND TODDLERS

i got so tired of my kids and toddlers rotating between the same 3 hairs that i went and converted some of my favorites into kids and toddler hairs

2 and 6 don't require a mesh since the creator has deleted them, but the rest do need the original mesh. most of them don't have hat chops except the ones labeled as such

BONNET FOR CHILDREN

this is qwerty sims bonnet converted for children. you need the original mesh for this to show up in game. it makes them look bald without a cc hairline so i recommend using one. this is what i used for the picture

here's my personal collection of her cc i have downloaded... half of it is missing thumbnails bc i used to do batch fixes that removed them. i also did batch fixes to disable for random, add hot and cold weather tags and enable for all occults except aliens (they can still use in their human disguise). i know someone already uploaded their collection to simsfileshare but god damn that site is a mess and you have to individually download each item, i wish everyone would switch over to dropbox/google drive. i'll delete this post if she comes back.

HEIGHT PRESETS FOR CATS AND DOGS SIMS 4

still working as of 20/10/2023

i love using height sliders for dogs but the height data gets stuck on any puppies they have and you can't change it until they age up and there was no options for cats so i made this. 2 large ones, one small one, for cats, big dogs, and small dogs

i haven't actually tested this with puppies to see if it passes onto them but my experience is that presets don't usually pass on like sliders do

original height slider for dogs is here. i made mine from scratch, didn't use any data from theirs but i thought i would link it anyway in case you wanna combine and make giant dogs

so i was actually working on this before the patch. i don't like using sliders on kids and toddlers bc they get stuck on age up and the height presets i used were too tall and too short and i wanted more in between heights. then the patch broke those presets from being applied to new sims 😭 so i'll upload the ones i made now. i'm also working on pet presets but they're more complicated.

the presets are accessed thru head shape since the patch removed the body category for toddlers and kids

how to bypass the update button and play your game anyway

first switch origin to offline

then the play button should appear as normal. if it doesn't, click on the options button, highlighted in red, and it will be there

how to use the gallery in offline mode on origin

when the update is available, i will do another tutorial showing how to bypass the update button and play your game

first, switch origin to offline

launch your game as per usual

once it is loaded switch back to origin and go online

now, load into the gallery as usual and click "connect" sorry i didn't get a screen of that one

now the gallery will work normally

i've never passed out from insomnia before, at least not until i laid  down. so i found a way to stop them passing out. toddlers will still  pass out. all sims will still yawn

when i first started making this, i didnt realise there was a now deleted mod by coolspear that did the same thing. but it's been deleted now so heres my version of it

i tried to add in some of the stand alone sinks but it messed with the ability to drag dishes into the sink
