A few weeks ago I shared the midi only arrangement of one of the new Owlbear songs "Song of the Grey Witch." A band actually delivering on the music they said they'd make? Unheard of, and yet here we are. This is another Jeff demo so it's all in Guitar Pro with no vocals. This is coming along exactly how we had hoped, and although it isn't done yet it's captured a ton of the details we asked for (from the arrows sticking out of the owlbear to the battle stance and armor of the elf paladin) and we're all thrilled to see it coming along! As mentioned before this artwork by Yannis Rubus Rubulias who also did the artwork for Chaos to the Realm. Finally rolling out the start of new material for everyone to hear and I am really excited that this album is coming together so quickly after album 1 was just released in August! I recorded this song in 2020. I filmed this video in 2020. I'm so tired. This was originally for a compilation album for a label that won't be named and then got stuck in purgatory because the label decided it didn't need to pay artists and started to collapse in on itself.
