This is also the bracket where i made the promise to revive Damsel vs Damsel for you guys. (i knew i shouldn't've promised anything :P )

Laura's getting tied

I've been on something of a 'Laura kick' lately. Mostly just simple one-off pics of the ditzy blond kunoichi. But this one has a little bit of a "story" without revealing too much.

Sixteen and Feather - alternative outfits

Remember all the cosplay polls on dA?

Well, these are two of the outfits that didn't 'win', but i decided to draw anyway.

In Sixteen's case, it was an outfit i didn't even think of - that was up to one of my watchers: Sixteen in a riding outfit. It fits her bratty personality so well!

In Feather's case, i always thought she'd look good in an all white tennis outfit.

How V the Vampire Vigilante Should Have Ended...

With V the Vampire Vigilante's story arc over, i thought i'd let you (my higher end patreons) in on a bit of my 'writing process'.

Generally, when i write a story for a comic, i start with an outline. Then i flesh out the dialog and scene details (ie, notes about panels i think would work, etc). And finally, i'll change things one last time as i'm drawing the actual panels (for layout reasons/to accommodate my lack of artistic skills).

As a result, a story can end up very different than ...

Unfinished or Never Finished?

I try and draw 1 pic a day as 'practice'.

Some of these pics will work out, but many of them don't and i end up just discarding them. But some are... kinda inbetween.

The two pics above are of the "inbetween" sort. They aren't good enough for me to definitely want to finish them. But neither are they bad enough for me to know i never will. But this brings me to some questions (concerning you, my higher tier supporters).

Marisu and Azula Fire Nation Swimsuits

So i was asked if i'd ever considered drawing Marisu in a bikini in a DID situation. So i thought i'd post this (unfinished) picture.

As you can see, i have drawn Marisu in a bikinis in a DID situations.

I don't usually draw characters in bikinis (or other deliberately skimpy clothing) for a variety of reasons (like not liking bare feet), but probably the principle reason that i don't is that i just don't find "standard sexy clothing" very interesting.

I've been doing a lot of Laura pics lately. So this seemed like a logical choice for October. Only downside, she's not really all that scary. And it is October - the month of Halloween. Oh well.

V with a new outfit?

Don't know if you can tel with simply line-art, but V is wearing a mid-riff showing top, here (i know! so alarmingly different from her usual wears!).

The (shell of a) story behind this is if V comes back with a new story arc, i was thinking of having her join some kind of "Avenging Superheroines of Fetishville Justice Society" (but with a better name). One of the 'rules' would be V could only join if her outfit was more revealing, or more 'fetishy' or something (not sure).

In the meantime, i thought i'd ask my patrons what you all think of the upcoming cover. Just a sketch right now. But here is what i have so far.

This cover is tough because while i want to have V on the cover tied up, i also want to avoid any potential spoilers for anyone who hasn't read any of the comics.

So, i don't usually publish 'knowingly' failed pics. But i figure this is one is not quite terrible, but not quite good enough that i'll ever finish it.

Don't be fooled, though, since i have another pic that's _very_ similar that i may finish. So this is also, in a ways, a bit of a preview, too.

Rumor has it, though, that if you look close enough at any of my pencil only pics, you can see the faint outlines of another pic. So, if you think about it, this is really 2 previews in one.

Practice makes perfect!

So remember - just keep tying her up and she'll eventually become a perfect damsel. ;)

I once thought about having Strange Girl invent some kind of way to communicate with V even when she's gagged (or become fluent in gag talk from hearing it so often), but, surprisingly, the opportunity never came up.
