I got a lot of suggestions for a Christmas piece for the spicy treats category, so I tried to pick up a bit of all of them and came up with this one.

I remember that long ago, I did something similar with Nick as the main focus, so I wanted them to switch places this time around. ^^

Also, as you can see, I just couldn't decide if I liked the ears better up or down, so I kept them both. ^^"

Much like when I worked on the CAPCOM pieces, I wanted to recreate the title and style of the original cover. And include a little word play! ;3

Also, as much as I love the idea of Nick being an actually amazing cook, I wanted to create a balance and hint that Raspberries and Judy have to take care of what Nick and BB mess up in the kitchen. xD

I forgot to mention last time that I created the card format for the sake of cohesion. At some point I had the idea of showing different symbols related to the career as background patterns much like what I did with the "Steven Universe" piece.

But it was turned into just a couple of them to be part of the frame and as references to make the job stand out.

Auto Mechanic Cards

So... I have a lot of things to say about these pieces...

Firstly, I'd like to address the most important detail... As you may have noticed, I struggled a bit more with these sets than with other pieces.
It took me longer and trying something new with them turned out to be a bigger challenge than I anticipated. Realizing all of this, I also noticed that the month is pretty much over and I still had a lot of work ahead of me.

As it was suggested, I tried to portray Nick and Judy in different careers.
I took the was that were mentioned as inspiration and I wanted to try a couple of new things.

First of all, as you can see, I wanted to see if I could use the same base and just change it a little bit. An arms position, expressions and small details like that.

Based on the feedback I got from you, here is the final official version of MegaBerries!

I just couldn't find an specific quote or notable phrase from the original character I could use.

So I figured I could use he's nickname "The Blue Bomber"!
And you all know that Raspberries is the opposite of violent, so this buster might only shoot sweetness. xD

I honestly thought of just leaving the flat color version as the final one. Mainly, because when I looked at my reference I noticed that they don't use shadows over the bodies. xD

So for this one I included a subtle touch of lights and shadows not to stray to far from the original.
