When I picked up Aurora for this shoot she had just finished modelling for a life drawing class and had thrown on this loose maroon dress just to travel in. It seemed to fit the mood and colour scheme of the Art Deco apartment I had borrowed, so we started with just that in the hallway. It unbuttoned all the way, so we had fun with making it more revealing. We then shot some art nude in the hallway.

After last week's photos the two groups of photographers swapped models for a bit and we moved to a different part of the beach.
Quite late in the day we swapped back, and Amelia was behind a rock bathed in the golden light of the setting Sun. Hidden from the rest of the beach, she got more daring than the previous shots and took her t-shirt off for some implied topless.

Amelia drove to the shoot wearing this t-shirt over her bikini, so to mix up her outfit I asked if she would wear the t-shirt with nothing underneath.
There is a cliff at the back of this part of the beach; I was working with another photographer and we decided to use the rock face as the base as our backdrop. The combination of the rock, the sand, Amelia's tan and even her eyes gave a nice warm palette.

Katya brought this suit to a group shoot that I organise. We didn't get to use it during the group shoot (too many other options), so the other organiser and I invited her back for another shoot, cooperated on the lighting design and started with the suit.
It is a 3-piece suit; pants, jacket and vest. Katya started with a bra underneath, but we were able to go through some sexy combinations, ending up with just the vest on top.

The studio I shot in had this cute set - chair, table, plants, flowers. So we started there - to get used to each other.

Amelia lives in rural Victoria, and travelled 5 hours to be part of this shoot. The shoot was organised by another photographer I know, who started it a bit early, so we (4 photographers and 2 models) ended up working for about 6 hours!
Amelia went through the whole shoot with good grace and worked exceedingly well.

For the last part of the shoot Meagan put on some black lingerie, and we set up the lights for a film noir feel, making use of a Venetian blind.

This is the last post from Aim and Evelyn's duo shoot.
This was the models' idea - they wanted to check their make up between scenes, and invited me in to shoot. It was a bit of a challenge - working with mirrors and getting light in the confined space. If you look closely at the round mirror you can see me shooting - no, I was not hanging upside down, it is a concave mirror!

Four photographers, two models, a beach, and 6 hours of shooting.
Mimi brought these two bikinis by a local designer, and she and Amelia decided to mix the tops and bottoms.
Towards the end of the shoot we did a quick flurry of shots with them both together just as the Sun was setting, then I did a little more shooting with Mimi in the fading twilight.

I just finished processing this shoot with Lulla and I will organise it into posts over the weekend.
But I thought I would just quickly drop these few photos - not quite enough of them to make a full set, so just a quick treat.
This was the very end of the shoot - we had noticed the glass doors before but for got about them until we were just about to pack up. So we quickly made use of the set - only a few shots as I had to race off and collect Aurora for the afternoon shoot.

I finally finished processing this shoot of Meagan, so will post it over the next few weeks.
This shoot came about when a make up artist and hair stylist I was working with on a club shoot went through my Instagram and saw Meagan. They really wanted to work with her, so offered their services TFP if I lined up the shoot. The other organiser of the club shoot wanted on board as well - let me tell you that coordinating 5 diaries with the availability of a studio is no easy task!

As I discussed before this was my first time shooting with Evelyn, and it was Aim who set this up as a duo shoot. Aim and I discussed the suit concept before the shoot, but I am not 100% sure she filled Evelyn in.
They had not worked together before the weekend I shot this, but by the time they got to me it was their 5th shoot together so they were pretty comfortable with each other.
