Fox did a stellar work on him! And I am terrified of working on his 3d model. :S

Tera Character Sprite

This week, I bring to you, the first drawn illustration of none other than Tera herself!

We got most of the assets in place to begin working on the RPG proper so expect many more updates on that to come!

Exclusive to patreons is also the character sprite for Morrigan, available now on our private discord server. I would post it here... But she might be a bit too risque.

Today we are looking at some early concepts for the elves of Visar, made by none other but the talented Faye Silver.

Now that most of the portraits are done, we've moved over to map assets. Mainly cliff sides and cave walls! keep an eye out on more soon!

Fox is taking some time off from working at portraits, but she left us this lovely illustration of a marshland deviant.

We've starting looking into RPG maker seriously the last few weeks, trying to figure out how to bring the world of Erathor to life. Hopefully we can show more of that soon.

But seeing as the game is almost ready to be shown, its high time he got some time in the spot light.

Its been a long road, but we are slowly getting to the point where we have the assets to make a game. We have enemies, we have trees, we have floor! But we need character! So that is what Fox brings you with this, her first of many potraits to be used in order to bring the characters to life.

Hello everyone!

Work on the RPG is making some great strides lately.
Alas we had hoped to bring you a video around this time, focusing on the game Beat Cop.

But because of the current political climate, we thought it would be for the best to delay the video until things settled down.

In the mean time scripts for legend of opala 2 and blackwell is still in the works. The later hopefully leading to a Unavowed video down the line, so stay tuned for that!

Unicorn concept

Fox and I sat down recently and began discussing ideas for mounts,
A obvious one would be the classic unicorn. Fox wanted something hairy, with a beard. I wanted something sleek and elegant, more so than you'd see in a normal horse.

I  am amazed at what she accomplished! 

Furquest Tile set wip 1

Finally we began work on our very own tileset. RPGMaker is a wonderful program, but we didn't want to depend on default assets people have used a thousand times over. Its gonna take us a while before this one is ready. But I am rather proud of our first step into the project.

Commission work november 2019

This week was fairly uneventful. I did get featured on Artclient though, so I have quite a few commissons lined up for me. Some might say it was more work than it was worth, but every cent will go into improving our main projects here.

Impa concept preview

So up until now, we had a wide variety of different shapes and body types between the characters. But something we haven't tried yet, but I know is quite popular, is a smaller character. And so we have Impa a shameless little refrence to Zelda, even going so far as modeling her after Midna. Hopefully we'll stray from that idea as we go along, but I thought it was a decent little starting point.

Fox Hole considerations

With the Pathologic 2 review all but done, I wanted to take a break with something nice and relaxing.

I am not quite ready to bash my head against Legend of Opala 2. So perhaps a more light hearted affair is in order?

Oh yes... Lets go on a King's quest!

Alchemy shop wip 1

I am back after a week of sickness! but while I was busy coughing my lung out, Fox was busy drawing the interior to an alchemy shop. And I gotta say, it might be the best interior I've ever seen drawn in a fantasy shop. Its filled with so much detail and it feel so lived int. I am very proud of all the hard work she put into it.

I do have a bit of a habit of trying to take on as much as I can on this project since we don't have a lot of resources to work with right now. But it was very clear from my early attempts at pixel art, that it would be a lot better for me to fork over some money so someone else could do it for me.

Northen armour wip 1

Currently our plans is for our first game to take place in the northern parts of Erathor. You know what that means? Fantasy vikings!!!

I am still playing around with the armour and I don't know who it will belong to just yet. It can be Aesir, vanir, dwarven or snow elf. I am leaning towards a combination of Aesir and elven though!

Changes in the Pug Dungeon

Hello everyone! It is I, the Dungeon Pug!

You may have noticed some slight tweaks to our Patreon, and I just wanted to fill you in as to why that is.

When we started Fur Quest, our main goal was to turn it into a comic. Recently that changed as I got more and more familiar with RPG maker, and Fox stressed over the comics art. I think it is pretty safe to say that Fox's art is nothing short of amazing, but it does take time to produce.

You may have heard us mention Deviants on occasion through out our project, and aside from one rejected 3d model this is the first time we've shown them off. A a twisted abomination of flesh, Deviants are a scourge across all of Erathor.

Shadow of the Conqueror Review

So remember when I said I'd have this done by monday? Ah well, live and learn. And what did we learn today? That when you try to fix small errors in a video ten more have a way of poping up. And until you feel confident that you got everything down perfect, maybe you should render the videos in a lower resolution to be sure?

Fur Quests Bestiary 1 Tree Mothers

Tree mothers are forged from a union between dryad and a elder tree. This marriage results in their two souls becoming one with the land around them, ushering forth a age of prosperity and fertility. Gaia was the first of their order and she has since passed the mantle over to her daughters. It is said that the land calls to them, telling them where they are needed. Its long since been a priority to mark the presence of any known Tree Mother as they are considered a dangerous military threat....

Dwarf concept WIP 1

The Dwarves play a major part in the lore of Erathor, so its a bit odd we've not worked on their appearance until now. For the  Dwarves  we went with a bit of a Klingon influence, thinking the traditonal forehead ridges would make a great anchor for piercings and sporting war paint. Plus it made for a fun little contrast with the elves. You might notice that the elven inquisitor has ridges running along either side of her head, where as this dwarf sports them in the middle.
