Over the years I’ve had random dudes tell me to smile, for no reason, with no previous interaction. They just feel the need to tell a stranger to smile.

I don’t do it, but I’ve always wanted to tell them “my dad JUST died!” or something like that to make them feel bad, but instead the interaction tends to go like above. 

I once had a night out with friends ruined because some guy decided to tell me to smile and when I didn’t he called me a joyless c*nt.
