Drawing board 07

 Heya!! Been thinking on how I've been handling the posts with this tag, and decided to rename them to "drawing board". I also thought on focusing these more on sketches or alt versions of works that I post... all the other tags are more direct, this one always feels like an art dump! I'm still thinking about it.

 Honestly usually I just want to go with the flow and post something when I'm done with it, so doing these dumps and letting work build up demand a lot of self contro...

Poké ball smithing menu mock up

 Since I saw the Pokémon Legends trailer I really wanted to tackle a crafting menu for poké balls. Apricorns are meant to be an old art for pokéball crafting, and the fact sinjoh ruins exist makes me imagine this knowledge could be present in Sinnoh in ancient times!

 I have a personal pokémon setting that is meiji era inspired, so it was really nice to play with these aesthetics again!

 Hey everyone, now that the pages are all done I wanted to discuss a bit how I planned to tackle this comic! As you may know, this was the first time doing a project of this size and in this medium, so I had to learn a bunch stuff including organizing my process.

Whenever it rains - Cover art

 Now that I'm finished with the pages, I've worked on the cover! I initially thought of doing a full detailed illustration, but I thought a more graphic design approach could be more interesting! It's really not an area of expertise so it was a fun challenge.
