Oscar has to walk gastrin out at night so he can eat up some stuff! As gastrin satiates his appetite, he bulks up mass. Oscar doesn't relax at all, he's gotta be alert at all times!

When gastrin samples oscar's tissue he is able to turn into a perfect copy of him. Uncanny!

Some sketches thinking about their duo dynamics!! Gastrin is quite protective of Oscar as he is the only human around he is able to snatch. Oscar doesn't share the sentiment. Even then, Gastrin thinks Oscar is very obnoxious at times....

When a body snatcher samples human tissue, they can copy the victim's whole being, from body to memories! They can possess humans - and some body snatchers specialize in that - with the consequence of severely straining the host due to the unknown mechanism of merging human and body snatchers physiologies.

Body snatchers are such strange creatures, aren't they? When they snatch a body, everything comes with it. Experiencing self awareness for the first time must feel crazy tbh, and i want to develop that a lot with Gastrin!
In some of my sessions i like to play with gray scale! Are you guys acquainted with the concept of value? It's the relative lightness or darkness of a particular color. By playing with it, you are able to access way more volume into stuff! Highlights are lighter and shadows are darker - it's simple as that.
In gray scale i only have to think about absolute values though. When doing colored pieces i have to take a lot of considerations, like saturation and how the hues behave ...

Most of my training sessions will look like this. Sometimes i'm in the mood to play with grayscale!
Usually i have a focused area of study and try to concentrate a lot on a specific area/region - which results in these ghastly sections?! They may look a bit strange but i actually like them. Sometimes it even feels like their existence is loading or something like that.
