Chief justice Papillon Ohger

Another warm up! 

Chief justice Papillon Ohger! Rita is so serious and stoic, wanted to make a silly fun hat+wig combo to contrast a bit with that! In the line of rangers assuming a different color in super form, Rita would turn into a turquoise/skyblue ranger! Based on her covered eye and details on god papillon.

Shogun Hachi Ohger

did this one as a warm up today as well, following that hymeno piece! Tbh I had interesting reactions to it, which inspired me to tackle another.

Kaguragi is sporting a shogun helmet with wheat laurels. I imagine the king forms make the ranger assume a different color - for Kaguragi it's orange! Wanted to play with orange x wasp to play a bit with his wasp motif.

Friend to spiders

 Wanted to tackle this piece after the Spider and Butterfly mini project!!

 Initially Webisu was able to hear whispers from spiders almost unconciously and that was out of his control. But after his training, he's able to interact with spiders and hold conversations with them whenever he feels like! 

 It can be used to commune with nature... and to gather intel - which would be the use in the Apparition comic!

Toon practice 01

Been wanting to practice a bit more with cartoons!! this one is a tiny warm up sheet that features some studies of sheets from mulan and alladin... and comicolor's sinbad the sailor! This reminded me on how studying the genie really helped me figuring out how Webisu could emote.

Usually I keep those to myself because dunno if you guys would like to see me studying another person's style. But if that's something you'd like to see, let me know!

Today I dreamed that Hymeno had a form like King Kuwagata Ohger, and the lance had a different color!! In the dream she was pink/rose gold so I did it as well here to respect my subconscious ideation LOL it'd be so cool if everyone had a super form.....

After a busy end of june, I decided to take the start of july for myself and did this mini project!!!

I don't aim on going back to appartion, but I thought of making mini comics about the story over all, as I have all the story beats in my head (and heart)!

 This month I also tested two new ways of making commissions, and I had the help of dear patrons with it!💖  a character design for Moon13 and a sketch page for @Sacrodonut!

 Had fun with both of these, so I might as well start putting these modalities in my repertoire!

Wuvable oaf piece!

Needed something to stretch a bit more of my art muscles and decided to do little wuvable oaf homage!

 The character's all white with masterful use of contrast in black and pink are very hard to make, so this piece ended up being challenging.

 Also testing body hair brushes I did! did you like em?

Little trip vacation!

I'm going to Rio today and will be back on the monday. I miss it and it's such a fun place!! Really looking forward to it!

It's a bit annoying that I won't be able to draw those days but I'm going to come back extra recharged and inspired so... Work resumes on monday!

Great wizard king doods!

I already got some stuff brewing over here, and while I'm at it check out some great wizard king experiments that I did!

I also tried doing more asset shenanigans, with a brush for sparkles, fairy dust and just uuuum energy running around, I have to compile what I have done these two last months regarding assetssss!

Edit: noticed this was getting hefty by its own, so I'm turning this into a dedicated post! I'll make another june drawing board post further in the month!

Penn!

A friend of mine really likes Penn (and ass) so of course I wanted to work something on it! he's wearing the froggy armor he gives you in his quest line (and with the innuendo about it in the dialogue during the quest).

(I may update it with dialogue later?)

I thought of posting it over the drawing board post but it's a bit cluttered already, right! the month is going to turn soon either way, so I hope to have another nice drawing board month!
