Yes. Yes I did... but as always, for good reason! I'm working on a music video right now, and the deadline is so soon I've been completely consumed. Castlevania Nocturne Commission

Another commissioned animation, and coincidently the castlevania nocturne season 2 trailer dropped today, so look out for that. Anyway, this was fun, a little simple one.

I'm doing it again...

Kind of. I realized I'm starting to do a lot of things at once again, but this time I'm not taking on more than I can handle and I'm also not doing it alone. So maybe this time things will be a little different!

The Camera-man has achieved his 2nd Form!

Currently finalizing the sculpt of the Camera-man, that's why there hasn't been a 3rd part yet. This wasn't my original vision, but I think having him stand out against the 'manga' style of the other characters while also fitting into the same aesthetic will fit the series perfectly.

Plus I get some practice in for the larger projects I really want to create! 😁

Animation Production Continues

This project had to be put down for a long time, it was put on the back burner and moved around so much but it is finally reaching completion. And here is a little preview! Can't wait for this to be done, it's sent off and I'm just waiting to see it with the sound design and audio

How To Think 3 Dimensionally When Drawing and Animating

Here you can see another shot by Uita. In this shot, some characters feel a little flat and out of proportion - that doesn't mean this isn't good work, but it could be great! How?

Well, looking at the characters in the foreground, their proportions could be adjusted but more importantly, the character on the lefts shoulders could be given more depth and the perceived space between the two characters could be accentuated through their proportions (the size of left characters hand etc). W...

I told you part 2 would slow down a little and start getting into things. Obviously, it hasn't got into much yet but bare with it, there are two more "MAKING CONTACT" parts to come, and I'm sure you'll enjoy them as an introduction to "The Camera-man Never Dies!"
