2015-09-01 06:59:00 +0000 UTC View PostHey folks,
Another update for the Patrons-only listing.
This coming week, we'll be visiting Logitech's audio engineering facility located not far from PAX. You are among the first to hear about our venture there. This will yield interesting content with an engineering slant, something we're excited to work on.
We just wrapped our GTX 950 review, but haven't gotten to the overclocking yet. That's forthcoming. You can find the 950 review already on th...

First off, our sincerest thanks for supporting our approach to objective journalism. It has become increasingly difficult to monetize long-form journalism by way of advertising -- we understand why, too, but that doesn't make it easier -- and support systems like Patreon look to be the way of the future. We hope that, with ongoing support from readers, we can build a strong userbase of supporters that mitigate our dependency on traditional advertising. This stuff is mo...

The above guide shows how to update Skyrim to 2015-style graphics while retaining performance-focused visuals. We're not trying to stray too far from the original aesthetic here -- nor are we trying to nuke performance -- but we did want to update the game's visuals. Sorry, Sky...

Hey everyone,
Just another Patrons-only update. We're presently working on a video version of our newest Skyrim graphics overhaul, which aims to reboot the 2011 title with modern visuals that don't murder performance. The game was tested all the way down to a 250X -- RIP -- and was found to run perfectly well on a 750 Ti or better with mods. Pretty impressive. That's being edited now and will likely be uploaded within 24 hours.
The next goal is AMD's A10-7870K, the ...

We don't normally share articles straight to Patreon, but this is different. I want to make sure everyone sees this.
GamersNexus has been placed in a difficult position of late on more than one occasion, with manufacturers pushing "narratives" and editorial demands on our staff. We've been asked to remove articles and videos, change titles, and so forth.
We have several assurances we are making to our readers in light of this. Read more here:
Hey Patrons & Supporters!
Only you folks can see this post because you've supported us! Thanks again for helping out. We sincerely appreciate it. This is my first patrons-only post -- I'm going to keep them more styled like informal blogs (for now, at least) to keep things nice and easy. We'll leave the harder reading for the analytical articles.
Last night, we spent a huge amount of man hours rebenching every card we've got. Going from 11am through 6am, I was j...
